Ascended Lawmagic (Lawyer)
You automatically know all laws, rules, and regulations that apply to the situation you are in.
Blend In (Novice)
You always seem to stand in the shadows of others. Gain Concealment whenever you are adjacent to an ally or a neutral character, which doesn't apply to attacks made by a character who is the only one next to you.
Detect Identity (Lawyer)
After successfully casting a Divination or Enchantment spell on a target with one or more raises, you may subtract one of these raises to learn the target's name or their current Class. This ability can be used on the same spell as many times as there are raises on the Test.
Detect Loyalty (Lawyer)
You may use Detect Identity to determine a target's Alignment or Faction.
Detect Nature (Lawyer)
You may use Detect Identity to determine a target's Race or Exaltation.
Detect Truth (Lawyer)
You may spend a point of Resolve to force someone to loudly and publicly admit the results of any Detect Identity you have performed on them.
Poker Face (Gambler)
Reading you is easier said than done. Any attempts to target you with Divination spells or the Scrutiny skill face a static penalty equal to your level.
Nick of Time (Maid)
A Maid is no good if she cannot be where she is needed. By spending a hero point, you may arrive at any scene immediately. If it is a combat scene, they may roll initiative and arrive when their turn comes up.
Maximum Security Clearance (Troubleshooter)
Spend a Hero Point. Until the end of the scene, your Backing in a group of choice is treated as being three higher than it actually is.
Unbelievable (Butler)
If you are ever forced into revealing information (truth serum, enchantment, mind-reading, etc.), you can make a deceive test against whatever put you in this circumstance. If passed, you still tell the truth but in such a way that no one will believe you and will stop trying.
