The time is ripe for collecting fighting manuals once again. In this thread, please create a list of special attacks for yourself and others to use! I would prefer one school to a post for ease of reference through the links below, but whatever works. When making your move lists: Please list special attacks in ascending order of SP requirement, with the SP required for each attack as well as all advantages and restrictions used noted as well. For homebrew sword schools, please pothole a link to the school in question. And for mixed-school styles, please name the style and also note the schools and levels required. Fluff descriptions of your moves aren't required, but if it's fun... Sad that a duelist can't actually do this RaW. A bard can though so that's almost as good. EDIT: Good name, boss.

An orphaned child was wounded in a war between Humans and non-Humans but was rescued by a Sahuagin, who took her to a secluded underground kingdom. She still died because her injuries were too severe but at least she was comforted in her last moments. Grateful, she clung to the Materium by possessing a doll and sought to join the royal guards to pay them back. Her first attempt was met with total rejection because she was a little girl and also a doll. This would not do. Desperate to prove herself, she studied really damn hard with a toy sword. Unfortunately it barely amounted to anything next time but the Sahuagin vouched for her spirit. That's how she joined the royal guard as their (relatively) youngest member. Her aptitude for learning was amazing and had one of the most dazzling sword skills to compensate for her physical weakness. Later on, as a proper member of the royal guard, she was sent on an important mission by her lonesome. The stories branch out and become inconsistent from that point on. Maybe she befriended a lone Human wandering around, others claim that she was betrayed by said human. A darker retelling says that she died fighting a monster that only looked human. The most cynical interpretation was that she gave up midway into her mission, unable to commit to the heavy responsibility. How did her massive repertoire of moves get preserved? I'll leave that up to you. Cute Cloaked Cutlass (Diamond Mind+Shadow Hand+White Raven) | Name | Style Points | Weapon | Action | Prerequisites | Advantages | Restrictions | Wild Stab | 2 | Fencing | Standard Attack | Diamond Mind 1 | +0k1 damage | Difficult Strike | Double Slash | 3 | Fencing | Standard Attack | Diamond Mind 3 | Flurry of Blows | | Careful Strike | 4 | Fencing | Standard Attack | Diamond Mind 3 White Raven 3 | Dipping Swallow Knight's Movement Concentration | -1k0 damage Skill (Scrutiny) | Running Hound | 5 | Fencing | Charge | Diamond Mind 1 White Raven 5 | Wolf Pack Technique | | Can Opener | 6 | Fencing | Feint | Diamond Mind 3 Shadow Hand 1 | +2k0 damage +8 Pen | -1k1 accuracy | Falling Dandelion | 7 | Fencing | Standard Attack | Diamond Mind 4 Shadow Hand 3 | Ringing the Temple Bell x3 Weakening Grip Technique | -2k1 damage | Wilting Flower | 8 | Fencing | Ready | Diamond Mind 4 Shadow Hand 2 White Raven 4 | Attention Drawing Strike Mosquito's Bite Weakening Grip Technique | -0k1 damage Difficult Strike | Sawblade Shredder | 9 | Fencing | Standard Attack | Diamond Mind 3 White Raven 5 | Flurry of Blows x3 | -0k1 accuracy Backhanded Blade | Burning Dandelion | 10 | Fencing | Ready | Diamond Mind 4 Shadow Hand 3 White Raven 5 | +2k2 damage Ringing the Temple Bell x4 | -0k1 accuracy Difficult Strike Perfect Positioning |
Based on a character I made but didn't get to use because the character she was supposed to replace survived until the end of the campaign. This isn't the exact replica of the moves in her list. For one thing there were tweaks to make it slightly build-agnostic, also there would've been multiple versions of the same move, one for Parrying and one for Fencing.

Running into scary monsters in the middle of the night is a childhood fear, running into a cybered-up junkie on the edge of a breakdown is an adult fear. Dropping opponents with more metal than meat is a practiced skill for professional Boomer hunters or anti-augmentation forces of the Purity First movement. The roper's art gives them time and space to choose their strikes against cautious foes. The somewhat unpredictable and wildly flowing nature of chains, whips, and flails gives them a measure of space. Taking this pause to plan your strikes is a part of Rope Trick's strength.
