Rope TrickProcrastination is a time honored tactic of putting off today what can be done tomorrow. While under fire it takes a special sort to waste that kind of time. Betty waiting for his next challenger Rope trick centers around using flail weapons. Their floppy construction opens a wide range of possibilities. The key skill is Deceive, that flexible weapon can easily surprise any opponent. Level 1: ApprenticeWeapon (Flail) - Use Flail weapons with your martial maneuvers. Action (Delay): Use Delay action in martial maneuvers. Any attack-related advantages you apply to the special attack are instead applied to your next melee attack. That attack may not be a Special Attack. Level 2: InitiateImproper Technique (-1) - Your attack gains the Risky property. Lariat (2) - Your attack has the Binding property. Level 3: Journeyman Skill Deceive (-1) - As part of this attack, make a Deceive test against the Static Defense of the target. If it fails, the attack fails. Swinging the Chain (2) - This attack has the Reach and Tearing properties. Level 4: Master Mastery (Threshing Pain) - As long as you are armed with a flail weapon you gain two free actions per turn that may only be used on opportunity attacks. These attacks may not be special attacks themselves. Nunchaku Display (2/4) - For 2 points you gains Fear 1 until the beginning of their next turn. For 4 points you gain Fear 2. Level 5: Grandmaster Flail Shell (3*) - Add a bonus to your Static Defence equal to 5 times the number of times this bonus was taken until the beginning of your next turn.
