Reflec Armor Initially discovered on accident, reflec (short for reflective) material has unique energy-cancelling properties. It's fairly lightweight and cheap to make, so it sees use just about anywhere lots of laser beams get thrown around. Mechanics-wise, Reflec armor doubles it's AP against Las weapons. The quality of the material can be gauged by its color, with Reflec on the more visible end of spectrum being worse.

Armored Vests and Protective PanelsBallistic vests, panels, and similar protective gear are mid-modern armor designed for relative flexibility, affordability, and durability. The true protective power lies in the metal, ceramic, or composite panel inserted into a generic carrier vest which is also lined with protective materials. There are multiple kinds of panels manufactured to protect against different kinds of threats. The primary upside to this kind of protection is that it can be easily concealed and covered with heavy clothing, or jackets. The vests are also easier to put on than most armor, and the panels are relatively easy to replace. When purchased each vest comes with a specialized protective panel, though you can simply discard the extra vest if you already own one. When purchased as an artifact only the panel is made of the chosen material. Ballistic VestBallistic vests double their AP against kinetic projectile firearms such as pistols, rifles, shotguns, and non-explosive heavy weaponry. It is not effective against weapons with X or E type damage, or slower thrown objects. Impact VestImpact vests double their AP against subsonic kinetic melee assaults, and thrown items such as knives, hammers, or javelins. It is not effective against weapons with X or E type damage. Ablative VestAblative vests double their AP against any attack, but afterwards they lose this functionality until replaced. Due to its consumable nature there is no artifact equivalent for this item. Your ability to replace the spent ablative panel is equivalent to your ability to restock ammo and grenades for items you've purchased.

Bounty hunters start out equipped with a "standard" suit of armor and personalize them over time, but there are some suits that they recommend as a baseline if you can afford them.

Mercenary armor is popular with the blue suns and anyone who's ever been to Arrakis. The wearer ignores penalties to actions from weather conditions, and is comfortable even in very hot or cold weather. Ork warbosses like to wear battlemaster armor because it helps them get stuck in. Battlemaster armor grants the wearer the ability to add their constitution to their speed for the purpose of charge actions. Experienced, lucky, and/or privileged bounty hunters wear bounty hunter armor to survive in environments where backup isn't an option. The protection is lacking but the mobility and power servos are the appeal. Mandalorian armor is a very bare-bones setup. It's protective and open to customization. Some increase its bulk, some add grapple lines, others add weapons. It's up to you.
Every Mandalorian's suit of armor is unique, built for years to accommodate their needs; this is the baseline helmet they use. The Mandalorian helmet has a built-in microbead and set of good-quality magnoculars.

Is posting these a good idea? Hell no. But I gotta get them out of my notepad and therefore my head. I think their stupid-high costs and the fact you need more than one of them to get their full use evens it out. There's good armor, there's great armor, there's artifact armor, and then there's armor you have for no other reason than because you can or really, really need it. This armor requires deep pockets and/or connections to very powerful people to maintain. These armors are on par with small spelljammers in their cost to make and maintain. The holdings value of these armors may be decreased by 1 for poor quality, increased by 1 for good quality, and increased by 2 for best quality. A poor-quality item of holdings 1 availability changes to mythic rare availability.

The noble 7 helmet is a heavy helmet jam-packed with sensors to give its wearer the most information possible. It is most popular with assassins on extended assignment behind enemy lines. It comes with integrated good-quality magnoculars, an auspex, a microbead, a dataslate, a torch, and a multicompass. If wearing this helmet with power-type armor on all other locations, it qualifies as a void suit. This helmet does not provide the +1 strength, +1 resilience, or -2 static defense usually granted by power armor. Noble 7 infiltrator armorThis armor is standard issue to vindicare assassins but have been deployed en masse to take advantage of their power. Some come with refractor fields to further shelter the wearer. Name | Type | AP | Max Dex | Availability | Locations Covered | N7 infiltrator armor

Special: The armor conceals the wearer in an active camouflage system, the wearer of this armor does not need cover, darkness, or some other concealment to hide from view so long as the wearer is also wearing a power-type helmet (yes the helmet also gets active camouflage while worn). This armor contains five doses of biofoam that may be restocked. The armor automatically applies one dose of said biofoam when the wearer gains the blood loss condition.
This armor does not provide the +1 resilience of power armor. Poor quality suits of this armor do not provide the +1 strength of power armor. Best quality suits of this armor also have an integrated Mk I regenerative shield. AV-1A PowersuitClearly, money is not an object to you. Nor is finesse. You just want power and a "fuck you"-button in case it doesn't work out. These armors are crafted by techmarines and archmagi the Wheel-over, but only about 1000 are made every year. This model of armor is reserved for high-ranking officers, invaluable veteran soldiers, penal legionaires that demonstrate their loyalty and effectiveness in their field... and those berks that just want to flex how much better they think they are than everyone else. They're pretty tough as a rule, but the better ones have refractor fields and even iron halos.

Special: Get ready. This armor provides a +1 to dexterity while worn. This armor has can carry five doses of a drug of choice (sold seperately) they may apply at any time, the armor doing so automatically. If the wearer is suffering critical damage, they may choose to fall prone in exchange for a further +1 resilience so long as they are prone. If the wearer dies (for good), the armor explodes (damaged beyond repair) with the profile of a frag missile.
Poor-quality versions of this armor do not provide +1 dexterity. Good-quality versions of this armor have an integrated Mk I regenerative shield. Best-quality versions of this armor instead get a Mk II regenerative shield.

Tactical Dreadnought "Terminator" Armor
An extremely ancient and revered Armor, the Tactical Dreadnought Armor (better known as the Terminator Armor) is a Power Armor saved for the Great Wheel's most elite Aasimar. It exchanges maneuverability for sheer defensive power, turning whoever wears it into an unstoppable engine of destruction.
All patterns of tactical dreadnought armor provide an additional +1 strength over normal power armor, but also an additional -4 to the wearer's static defense. All patterns include an in-built microbead and auspex. All terminator armor also acts as an environmentally sealed void suit.
Indomitus Pattern The most widespread pattern of Terminator suit used throughout the human Imperium, Indomitus Terminator Armour features large rounded pauldrons and an iconic helmet design that resembles the face of a long-extinct species of Terran canid. On each suit's left shoulder always sits the revered Crux Terminatus.
Cataphractii Pattern This slab-shouldered pattern of Terminator Armour was similar in many ways to the standard Indomitus Pattern Terminator Armour, but is easily identified by its double layer of curved ceramite pauldrons and the pteruges of adamantium thread that cover the suit's few vulnerable joints in the elbows and thighs.
The suit's oversized pauldrons are not without purpose, housing additional shield generators, though the added weight and power requirements of such reinforced protection comes at a cost in speed and manoeuvrability. Cataphractii armor includes a built in mk 1 resilient energy shield, but imposes a -2k0 to acrobatics and halves the distance of run and charge actions.
Tartaros Pattern Perhaps the most advanced form of Terminator Armour ever designed, the Tartaros Pattern shares many systems with the Mark IV Maximus Pattern of Power Armour, and provides an incredible range of movement for its wearer compared to the Indomitus Pattern, with minimal loss in durability or protection.
Saturnine Pattern The rarest form of tactical dreadnought armor, known only through rumor and legend. Some say this armor was designed in the days of the Tiamat heresy, custom built to protect generals in the field, and as such only a few of these venerable suits exist.. All saturnine armor has a single weapon mount, which can grant the arm-mounted property to any personnel-weapon, given 1 hour to attach/detach.
