GENERAL CHAT THREAD, RISE.
Helluva year. We tried to PbP, some of us farted out some homebrew, some of us edited some homebrew... sitrep?
I need to actually sit down and try to write fluffy things, after focusing so hard on crunchy bits. Maybe then I'll worry about evening out Gladiotheurgy ranks.

I managed to get a game going and then ran into real life problems with players no longer having time to play. Which lead to another thing I noticed. It would be nice if there was a community discord server, where you could check if there were some open games and players looking for a game. Finding players can be a pain, with the focus on D&D in most places and people being fixated on it even if there isn't a focus on it.

There's a PbP section on the forums to play games here without scheduling issues (it's a little awkward tho but it works).

Trying to see how many images I can cram into a post before the forum stops me. So far this is 300 hotlinked images. Excellent. test

For those who don't know, the Great Homebrew Directory is up and running! All sections filled but it will still be maintained.

Since there is no indication about it and someone may be missing their character's Exaltation now. Amanojyaku has removed the Demiurge, pending revisions concerning it's powers and line of sight.

I remember I once tried thinking of Mass Combat rules for DtD but all I got was "steal from GURPS 4e: Mass Combat", mainly the Significant Actions part (which is kinda like stunting). Don't expect anything to come out of it though, it was merely a passing fancy. There's also another setting-agnostic system I'd like to bring up and it's Chain Reaction by Two Hour Wargames (and its melee counterpart, Swordplay). Unlike the GURPS splatbook, those ones are free. I also have Chain Reaction 3.0 (2009), and the 2015 edition (which got bundled with the 2018 version in the link)—you can find the former two somewhere else. I have no idea where to go with this but I think Reputation and Star Power could be salvaged into something workable. pre-edit: Okay, Chain Reaction and Swordplay not exactly Mass Combat. THW's systems are Wargames (thus involving miniatures and tokens) but I'm sure each Star/Grunt could be abstracted further to represent whole squads or something. I dunno.

Fun fact: Font faces aren't limited to what the editor shows you.
For example this is Rockwell, it's a little hard to tell with the size.
This WEBdings, not Wingdings. There's a subtle difference. It's a little hard to tell.
Now this is Wingdings.
There's a limited selection of web-safe fonts that's compatible with CSS so chose wisely.
EDIT: Doesn't show on mobile though...

Yo dudes, I like this game, I have a question about the lore, are crystal spheres solid? You can assume they are just like Crystal Spheres in Spelljammer. As such they would be a solid shell.

There are multiple text that says that ships can pass through them I have not taken the time to read any new or old Spelljammer outside of wiki skimming. I just view them as solid masses to separate the planetary system from the scary interstellar medium.

They're Spelljammers, they're meant to do that. Ever read Planescape? (I haven't)
