There is one thing that binds all the multitude of extra-dimensional planes from the material universe to the warp and everything in between. It is that they all share the same foundation of Enochian, the divine alphabet. Each word of this infinite lexicon have infinite meanings and shape the fabric of reality as we know it.
Sometimes the forces that separate these planes will momentarily weaken causing one to spillover into the other which can happen with Enochian but is much rarer. Rarer still is that this spillover can cause a miniscule fragment from a single character within the divine alphabet to enter the foreign plane and attach itself to a nearby mortal or even take on a life of its own. These entities are known as Enochian's and can change the world around them with nothing but a whisper.
Compelling Voice
Your spoken word can compel others to obey. Roll Word + Charisma against targets Scrutiny + Willpower as a Half Action and if they fail to resist they must attempt to obey your command with their next action. The max word-count of the command is equal to your Word level. You are unable to determine what they do with your chosen words (such as where your target goes with Move or whom they target for Attack) and automatically resist impossible or self-destructive commands such as "Suicide". If they cannot complete the action with their next action in combat, they will attempt to do their best given the time they have. Naturally, the target needs to hear and understand you for this to work.
Language of Creation
Gain the Make it Work feat, spending one Rune instead of a Hero Point to activate. Lastly, you can create Speech Gemstones for languages you know and artifacts made of Wordwrought Iron, which takes an hour per dot rating, but reduces your max Rune count by the dot rating of the artifact. The max dot rating of artifact you can create is equal to your Word level and you can destroy any artifact as a Free Action, increasing your resource max by the cost of the destroyed artifact.
Polyglot
Every dot of Intelligence grants an extra language at character generation instead of every dot above 2 and you can buy the Speak Language(any) feat as if it was part of your current class as an optional feat. You automatically know what language is being spoken or written unless its a "manufactured" language like codes, ciphers, or a faction specific language.
Fragile Ego
When you suffer wounds you lose a point of Resolve. At 0 Resolve you lose access to all your Enochian powers and any active effects from those powers immediately end.
Power Stat: Word: An Enochian's word is an extension of his being, nay, his word is his being. As the Enochian grows in power so does the words he uses to exert his will on reality.
Resource Stat: Runes: You have a Runes pool equal to your Intelligence + Composure + Word. You regain Runes the same way you regain Resolve.
Tell: The more Runes an Enochian spends, the more their nature as a linguistic concept becomes apparent. At lower levels, the Enochian's voice will have slight distortion effects such as an echo or reverb. At higher levels their voice sounds like multiple people speaking just slightly out of unison. At max levels their bodies lose all color and the eyes and mouth will show nothing but an empty void, almost as if something imperceivable was wearing a skintight suit masquerading as a person.
* Orator: Your social Skills and Characteristics can go up to 6 dots and targets of your social attacks need to lose additional points of Resolve equal to your Word level before becoming jaded.
** Pep Talk: The Healing Surge action can be used during social combat and you can choose to restore Resolve in place of Hit Points, granting a +5 to Mental Defense instead of Static Defense. Choosing this option allows you to use the Healing Surge action on adjacent targets.
*** All-Speak: Before speaking or writing something down, you may choose to allow intelligent creatures understand your spoken or written word regardless if you share a language or not and can ignore the Language Dependent keyword. This does not mean you are capable of understanding others who speak a language you don't know.
**** Divine Commandment: The Compelling Voice power can now be used on creatures that are normally immune to mind-affecting effects. As for targets that already aren't immune, you may choose to have them follow suicidal commands. Additionally, you can make targets of Compelling Voice undertake extended actions rather than just using their next action, up to the duration of the scene, but doing so reduces the commands word-count to one.
***** The Rule of Names: Before subjecting a target to a supernatural or magical effect, you may speak the targets true name and spend Runes equal to the targets level to half the rolled dice when resisting the effect. If the target has the True Name Hindrance, the penalty also halves kept dice as well.
Enochian Vocal Cord Assets
Dovah Vocal Cords
Gain one rank of the Enuncia magic school. You may purchase ranks in it as if it was part of any class you belong to. Get a +1k0 bonus on Focus Power tests for casting Enuncia spells.
Fremen Vocal Cords
Gain the Professional Insult Fighter and Snark Attack feats. When you perform a successful social attack during combat, you may choose to move a number of meters in any direction equal to your speed as a Free Action instead of the normal effects of the Social Attack. You don't provoke an opportunity attack from the enemy whom you just performed the social attack on, though you provoke opportunity attacks from other enemies as normal.
Grima Vocal Cords
For every racial language you know, gain the Peer feat for that race with the exception of Syrneth, C'tan, or any other similarly ancient languages. If a creature is covered by multiple instances of the Peer feat, add a +1k0 to the Charm, Persuasion, and Command bonus for every overlapping instance. e.g. If you have Peer (Elves), Peer (Upper class), and Peer (Traders) feats, the bonus to your Charm, Persuasion, and Command rolls becomes +4k0 against upper class elf traders. The SM has final say if a creature qualifies for the extra bonuses or not.
Kira Vocal Cords
Your written word has the same ability to compel others as your spoken word does. When using Compelling Voice, you may spend Runes per word of the command to write it down on a surface using an appropriate writing utensil. The command remains empowered until someone reads it, at which point the reader must roll Scrutiny + Willpower as normal. Targets who pass their saving throw are not aware of anything unusual, except that they were highly tempted to follow the messages request. Regardless on a pass or fail, the written command then becomes inert. This cannot be done with keyboards or similar nor can it take effect if a picture is taken of the command and shown later.
