Vashtorr:(Ruinous Powers)
Having long kept himself shrouded from most races, Vashtorr is a demi-god of inventors, engineers, scientists, and artisans. He is empowered by acts of curiosity (like Slaanesh) and innovation (like Tzeentch) in the Materium, shorn of morality and driven to its darkest extremes. He has only manifested a handful of times in galactic history, and some crypto-scholars maintain he was created amidst the reckless arms race of some ancient galaxy-spanning war. Others propose he was brought about by the horrors of the Dark Age of Technology, where he proved a patron to many of its technological horrors.
Dark Mechanicum: The Dark Mechanicum, also sometimes referred to incorrectly as the Dark Mechanicus, and who refer to themselves as the "New Mechanicum," is a sect of traitorous Tech-priests, members of the Collegia Titanica and Chaos Knights of the ancient Mechanicum who have become Hereteks in service to Chaos.
The Technocratic Union: To the Technocracy, they are not at all related to other magical Traditions. Enlightened Science works because it is tested and proven, not because someone simply believes its working. As they spread their craft across the wheel, working out kinks, improving their models, etc. they seek to create Hyperscience to effectively replace Magic completely.

Mark of the Arkifane:
The Soul Forger shows favor to those who show favor to those who innovate and advance technology. You can speak Binary, and gain the Mechanicus Implants feat. Better still, your two flavors of religious mummery go well together; add your Faith as a static bonus to Tech-Use tests, and to Crafts and Social tests involving machines or Prometheans.
