Life is a struggle for survival, for one's place on the Wheel... why should death be any different? The Unquiet Grave disciple accepts that death is inexorable, and adopts the same mindset when dealing with her enemies. The school's emphasis is on the liminal space of the battlefield, the fine line between life and death where a single poor choice can be all it takes to move an individual life from one side to the other. As such, it draws power from that liminal space, allowing masters of the style to snuff out lives with sheer martial prowess.
Forbidden Lore is the key skill of the Unquiet Grave discipline, reliant as it is upon knowledge of those liminal spaces and the soul-carriers that occupy them. Syrneth weapons, especially the massive grimscythe, are the traditional weapons of the style, as its earliest adherents styled themselves reapers. This may also be taken to mean there is some substance to the idea that the slaad lord Ygorl was the first to teach the style to mortals, even if just to amuse himself watching them murder each other with it.
Level 1: Apprentice
-Weapon (Syrneth): Use Syrneth weapons with your martial maneuvers.
-Action (Called Shot): Use Called Shot actions with your martial maneuvers.
Level 2: Initiate
(-X)Call of the Grave: Choose one advantage applied to this attack. The chosen advantage is only applied if you have 0 or fewer hit points remaining. This restriction provides half as many style points as the chosen advantage requires.
(1)Howling Bean Sidhe: If this attack hits, the target is Deafened for one round for each raise you get on the attack roll.
Level 3: Journeyman
(-1)Skill (Forbidden Lore): As part of this attack, make a Forbidden Lore test against the Static Defense of the target. If it fails, the attack fails.
(1*)Bean Nighe Attitude: Gain +1 on saving throws until your next turn for each time this advantage is taken.
Level 4: Master
-Mastery (Ascendant Nightgaunt): Gain the Undead trait. Your Resilience is increased by 1 unless the damage is E, X, silver, or magical in nature.
(4)Cackling Demilich Prana: Apply this only to an attack using a weapon. Double the attack's damage against a target that has less than half its maximum hit points remaining. If the attack includes movement, you gain the Flyer trait during that movement.
Level 5: Grandmaster
(6)Entropic Reaper's Scythe: The attack gains the Saving Throw keyword. If it hits, the target loses half of its remaining hit points, rounded up. The target may make a saving throw to resist this effect using Arcana + Constitution, against a TN equal to your attack roll.
