The story of the Raging Storm discipline begins long ago, during the War in Heaven when gods and monsters vied for supremacy on the Wheel. While the Syrne and the Modrontyr fought seeking hegemony, a lone dragon instead sought titanomachy, fighting to cast down the precursors and free the Wheel from their folly. The first recorded exalt is said to be a blooded descendant of this dragon, who united his ancestor's fulminating magic with Syrneth steel into the javelin said to have struck the final blow against the Void Dragon, sealing away the C'tan and making way for life to flourish upon the Wheel.
The key skill for the Raging Storm discipline is Command, following from the myth of the warrior-king who pioneered it during the War in Heaven. The school favors Cavalry weapons, especially spears that can be hurled long distances or thrust into nearby foes with equal accuracy.
Level 1: Apprentice
-Weapon (Cavalry): Use Cavalry weapons with your martial maneuvers.
-Action (Knock Down): Use Knock Down actions in martial maneuvers. Apply attack bonuses to the opposed Strength test instead.
Level 2: Initiate
(-2)Errant Discharge: If this attack misses, it instead hits you, dealing E damage instead of the weapon's normal damage type.
(2*)Lightning Strike: This attack gains an additional meter of reach for each time this advantage is taken.
Level 3: Journeyman
(-1)Skill (Command): As part of this attack, make a Command test against the Static Defense of the target. If it fails, the attack fails.
(2)Thunder Thrust: After you roll damage for this attack, roll 1d10. On a 1, this attack deals half damage. On a 10, this attack deals double damage.
Level 4: Master
-Mastery (Storm God's Tantrum): Your attacks using thrown melee weapons gains the Deafening quality and deals E damage instead of the weapon's normal damage type.
(4)Blitzschritt: Apply this only to an attack using a thrown melee weapon. This attack gains the Shocking quality. After making the attack, teleport to a space within reach of the thrown weapon and you may Ready that weapon as a part of the same action.
Level 5: Grandmaster
(1*)Bolt of Gransax: Apply this only to an attack using a thrown melee weapon. This attack gains Blast (X), where X is the number of times this advantage is taken. If X is 5 or more, this attack gains the BrĂ¼tal quality.
