The Wheel is fueled by more than war and cosmic horrors, at its base every inhabitant needs food and drink. While untold millions spend years perfecting their art with a blade, a select few hone their magic skills to similar effects. They summon kitchens, find the right ingredient in odd places, purify foodstuffs of taint, and trade one ingredient for another. These powers and more are available to those who sup from the Gastronomicon.
Epulaturgy is a Transmutation equivalent - whenever you enter a class that allows access to Transmutation, you may instead have that classtrack allow access to Epulaturgy, and vice versa. This choice, however, may not be reversed later - if you choose to switch accessible spell schools, you're stuck with that choice.

What is a chef without their fancy hat? A cook! Over your current attire you summon an appropriate ensemble consisting of a toque, lightweight jacket, half apron with side towel, and a knife (Book 1 p. 211) in your hand. For every two raises on the Focus Power test increase the quality of both the clothing and knife by one step. If the Focus Power test gains four or more raises the knife may also be made of a special material.

Description: By throwing any available materials into the pot: trash, beer cans, paper, etc. and adding some liquid the caster stirs the concoction to produce enough of an edible bland tasting mush to feed 4 people. With 2 or more Raises you can cook with contaminated items: oil soaked rags, lho stick butts, antifreeze, rotting meat. With 4 or more Raises you can cook with toxic materials: asbestos, uranium, pesticides, lead.

Description: By briefly focusing on a dish or alchemical tincture within 3 meters you will know all the ingredients, their preparation, and cooking methods used. To successfully know the recipe your Focus Power test must meet or exceed either the Crafts or Wealth TN for the item. A dish made with improper ingredients will give you information with the current incorrect ingredients. So a dessert substituting salt for sugar would give you an incorrect, but accurately described recipe.

Description: You summon an wonderous simple kitchen. This workspace contains a large stockpot full of near boiling water, a spacious counter, four magically heated burners, an oven, assorted pots, pans, and other common kitchen accessories. This kitchen does not provide any extra ingredients, spices, or seasonings. Whoever uses the kitchen may feed up to 4 + Epulaturgy Levels people per hour of work. Every two Raises on Focus Power provides a Raise to any Crafts test when cooking items in this kitchen, up to a maximum of your Epulaturgy Level.
Focus: A small ceramic tile who's color will be copied for the summoned kitchen.
Scent of Sweet Honey

Description: After touching the target of this spell they are swarmed by an inescapable, sickly sweet honeyed aroma. This attracts all manner of gnats, flies, bees, and other insects to harass the target. During this time they take a check to all tests and an additional -1k0 to social tests as no one wants to deal with a walking swarm in polite settings. If a Resource Point is spent when casting this spell it gains the Subtle keyword.

Description: By spending a Resource Point you may create a single Senzu Bean, for each Raise on the test you may spend a Resource Points and create additional Beans, up to your caster level. A Bean, when consumed as a half action, will restore 2 points of Fatigue. Twenty four hours after the spell is cast these beans lose their magical potency, but are still a crunchy snack. You may have a maximum number of enchanted Senzu Beans equal to your Epulaturgy Level.

Description: Upon completion of casting the spell summons alcohol! Casting the spell produces cheap beer, poor quality wine or mediocre liquor. Two Raises summons average quality alcohols, four produces some of the best examples of their type. Failing to cast the spell still produces low quality alcohol, but those that consume it suffer the effects of a Minor Addiction (Book 2, p166) the next day.

Description: With a simple flat surface you can create fully cooked foods without heat. This spell takes unprocessed ingredients and prepares them. It can do things such as transform corn on the cob into corn cakes, raw fish into cleaned and cooked meat. It can not add any spices or other ingredients but will take whatever you have on hand and turn it into a healthy, delicious dish.
Focus: A flat surface for the hearth spirits to prepare your foods.
Fizzy Lifting Drink

Description: Completing this spell creates a single Fizzy Lifting Drink, an effervescent concoction that lifts the spirits and bodies of those that imbibe or a target struck within Strength*3 meters. After brewing this drink you may quaff, throw, or store it for later, noting the Focus Power test for the Saving Throw. Those affected by the drink and wish to resist may test Arcana + Constitution every round to burp away its uplifting effects. The spell lifts the target vertically 3m per round.

Goodberry

Description: By spending a Resource Point you may create a single Goodberry, for each Raise on the test you may spend additional Resources Points and create additional Goodberries, up to your level. A Berry, when consumed as a half action, will restore a single Hit Point. Twenty four hours after the spell is cast these lose their magical potency, but are still a delicious snack. You may have a maximum number of enchanted Goodberries equal to your Epulaturgy Level.

Description: The caster sings to the winds asking for desired herbs, medicinal plants, roots, or tubers. The caster hears the desired plant, or a suitable alternative, singing back to them up to a kilometer away. Increase the range by 1 kilometer for every 2 Raises. Failing the spell by one or more Check will lead the caster to harmful herbs or plants within 1 kilometer.

Description: As Scent of Sweet Honey, but in addition the spell attracts a minion squad within 10m of the target with Size, Speed, Threat and Damage Rating equal the number of the Raises made on the Focus Power test, to a maximum of your level. This squad attacks the target of the spell. If a Resource Point is spent when casting this spell it gains the Subtle keyword.

Description: The user's hands burst into brilliant white flames, purifying food and drink held by the caster. Foods are made safe to consume with a successful cast, poisons are removed with 1 Raise and radiation is removed with 2 Raises. If the food's taint is magical in nature it is countered by the spell's Focus Power test. In addition this spell grants your unarmed or natural weapon strikes the Tearing property against targets with the Daemonic trait.
Material: If purifying food or drink, the food and drink are cleansed, leaving them safe to consume.

Description: In hard times you sometimes have limited ingredients, this boon cures that issue. Upon casting the spell you may change up to 25 kilograms of one ingredient into another. The rough groupings are: protein (meat and fish), dairy (cheese and yogurt), cereal (grains or bread), produce (fruit and vegetables), various fats. If a living creature is the target of this spell they take 3k3 R damage to the location struck. The target may resist with a Constitution + Arcana saving throw. If the target survives the attack they reek of the attempted transmutation until the damage is healed. If a limb is severed or destroyed through this attack the offending limb is changed to this new foodstuffs. Artifact bionics can not be changed in this manner but the spell still causes damage.

Pizza Party!

Description: Upon casting this spell a distracting party snack appears at a point on a horizontal, solid surface, within 20m of the caster. The veggies and dip, pizza, hot wings, or whatever suitable snack meant to feed several people appears distracting up to twice your Epulaturgy Level in Minion Squads within 30m of the snacks. Squads who fail a [number in the squad] k [Threat Rating] test vs the spell's Focus Power result are distracted and head towards the target meal gorging themselves until the spell ends. If an affected Minion Squad is attacked their fascination with the tidbits ends and they return to the fight.

Description: By inserting a pair of rodent's teeth into their mouth, the spell gives the caster a pair of oversized jaws. These can, given time, chew through most any materials. Successfully casting the spell allows you to chew through wood, with 2 Raises steel, 4 Raises plastisteel or ship bulkheads. It takes a minute to chew through one inch of the listed materials. In addition it grants you a Brawling bite attack dealing 0k3 R.

Description: The ultimate expression of "you are what you eat," this spell will infuse the Spice of Life and transform an indifferent food item of unusual size or a willing participant into a Foodinite. If the target is a willing individual any experience spent on Racial Assets are refunded and the target may purchase Foodinite Assets as though they were creating a new character. Awakened Foodinites roll on the Quick NPC Generator class track to determine their future profession. Individuals created this way are friendly to the caster and will eventually seek out their own path. Around 1% of these creations "went down to the lobby for an Exaltation" and comes to life as a Paragon.

Description: Casting this spell stretches the user's mouth to an unnatural size, allowing them to swallow a person up to their Size, plus 1 Size for each Raise, to a maximum of the caster's level. The target may attempt to avoid using Athletics + Dexterity. Swallowed creatures are safely stored in a 'stomach' pocket of the Umbra. The caster can voluntarily expel its contents later and will automatically regurgitate them after the spell ends. Beings appear adjacent to the caster and are unharmed by the process.
