Homebrew Race: Hyperborean
Hailing from the far fringes of the Wheel a region dubbed "The Great Galactic North" known for it's almost cold, barren crystal spheres comes the Hyperboreans: a race of pale, skinned humanoids with a natural affinity for making things really cold. Not a lot is known about them for sure as their native regions are quite inhospitable and quite far from other populated crystal spheres, only anecdotal hearsay is really common knowledge.
In reality, they are the primary cause of this region's barren and icy crystal spheres. Their bodies naturally diffuse heat into the extremes, causing their presence to have a freezing effect and their touch risks hypothermia in warm bodies. The Truth at the Matter is that their unique physiology creates localized climates around them and when enough populate a sphere this has huge ramifications, and despite their extreme resilience against the cold they still feel the chill and numbness of these temperatures and crave the sensation of warmth. This urge has guided them beyond their icy homes in search of the fleeting warmth of a new home if only until it freezes like and the search begins anew.

Power -- Iceman: Your natural heat diffusion protects your body from harms both environmental and energy based. You are immune to the effects of Environmental heat and cold. Reduce damage taken from E damage by your level, and the environment within 15m of you is under the effects of extreme cold.

Racial Feats:
Cold as Ice[Hyperborean]: It's very hard to get emotional responses from you or even motivate you, your are a Cold-Hearted, Cold-blooded, Cool Operator. When you would lose resolve you may choose to become Jaded instead. But you cannot conduct any Social Actions while jaded.
Frosty Dander[Hyperborean]: Your Weaponless Unarmed Attacks and Natural Weapons gain the Binding Property. The TN to resist Secondary effects of attacks you make is increased by 5.
Icy Grip[Hyperborean]: Your touch leeches the warmth and vitality of those you touch. You gain a Natural Weapon with the following properties:(1k2 E, Melee, Brawling, Halting)
Frost Miser[Hyperborean]: You specialize in using your frosty abilities. As a Half-action you may perform one of the following attacks:
- Snowball:(Thrown, Grenade; 20m; S/-; 2k2 E or R; Clip -; Reload -; Blast(X), Halting)
- Icicle:(Thrown, Primitive; X*10m; S/-; 2k2 E or R; Clip -; Reload -; Tearing, Binding)
- Blizzard Breath:(Pistol, Primitive; X*10m; S/-; 2k2 E or R; Clip -; Reload -; Arm Mounted, Spray, Halting)
These attacks are natural weapons. X is Equal to half your size.
Winterized Skin[Hyperborean]: Some like it hot, but you'll always stay cool. You Automatically douse yourself when lit on fire.
Racial Paragon Asset:
Arctic Monarch[Hyperborean, Paragon]:You are a master of ice and snow You gain a level in Cryokinesis you may advance in this spell school and cast spells from it using your excellence instead of your ranks in the school. You can only cast these spells Unfettered, but they cannot trigger Warp Phenomena or Perils of the Warp. Ignore the Material or Focus keywords when casting this way.
