Nekron (Ruinous Powers)
Nekron, Lord of the Unliving, bringer of the Blackest Night. In the beginning, there was only death, then life upset the balance. It spread across the multiverse like a plague, and death has had enough. It wants this interloper to dissapear. As such, it's commandments are simple. Slay all the living, and let the dead roam free once more.
One of the things Nekron gets along with best is Dithmenos. For it is life that brought light and in darkness no life can be sustained. As life and light follow eachother, so do death and darkness.
General Tenets:
- Create and help undead
- Slay the living
- Be patient, the right time will come
Alignment Scale:
10: Destroying any undead for any reason
9: Not killing a sentient creature each day
8: Acting on impulse when patience would serve you better
7: Not bringing a slain sentient creature back as an undead
6: Preventing an undead from being created
5: Showing mercy in any form, except to undead
4: Destroying a corpse for any reason other than sustenance
3: Passing up the chance to create an undead when there is no danger
2: Not killing a foe, that is not undead
1: Healing the living or bringing someone back to life.
Mark of Nekron
The Chosen of Nekron have no collective name. And few who see their work live to tell the tale.
You gain the Undead and Dark Vision traits.
Organisations:
The Black Rose
This group of necromancers seek nothing more than to create Nekron's ultimate domain. A world of death where the unliving rule and thrive. Though any may join their ranks, only those capable of raising undead will ever achieve a high rank. Any living that join do so with the understanding they will be turned at the earliest opportunity, wheter they want to or not.
The Night Guard
The night guard are mage-knights that patrol during the dead of night. Due to their vigilance many think of them as guardians that protect the roads and towns in the darkest hours. What they actually do however is a bit more grim. They go around collecting corpses to bury them as part of a ritual so they may never be brought back to life. They do not prevent the raising of undead, but do not actively do so themselves either.
