Homebrew Race - Hissho
Fierce and aggressive, driven by their sense of honor, the Hissho are fearless in battle. Preferring War to Peace, their nation has by tradition sought conquest and glory.
Tempered by steel and battle, the Hissho evolved from avian ancestors on their home Sphere of Uchi. Focused on constant wars between their own tribes, they lived ignorant of different species roaming the Wheel until they were picked up by the Dragons, augmented in the secreted crystal sphere of Sygakoja and then quickly put to the test as gladiators fighting in the decadent arenas of their masters. How long the period of mindless slaughter for the pleasure of their overlord lasted, none of them could say until the Syrneth had destroyed Sygakoja and of this bygone age only memories of slavery and exploitation remain, along with those of Glory and Adulation.

Physical Qualities:
The Hissho have dedicated themselves to the warrior's path, and their bodies show the extent of their labours and tradition. Well-built and well postured, these avian humanoids are hardy and stoic. Their feathery plumage and talon'd feat signify their Avian ancestry, and typically display bright or yet simplistic colors. Their eyes have a sharpness to them and upon looking deeper a keen fierceness resonates through their gaze, like that of a predatory bird.
Their movements are postured, disciplined and every movement however small is not without thought or purpose. Their mannerisms are subdued and reserved, making their emotions hard to discern, but their intent is always clear.
Playing a Hissho: Hissho revere tradition and honor in the highest regards, and are proud, aggressive warriors who enjoy combat. To them combat is the highest honor to grace a person with and to refuse honorable combat is a great disrespect, but not all are worthy of this honor. They spend their daily lives in preparation for combat with Physical training, monastic study, religious sacrifice, hermetic discipline, all in preparation for their ritualistic "Observances".
Hissho live in feudal, familial clans as the root of both social and political structure. To the Hissho a comrade is family, and anyone worthy of sharing the honor of fighting alongside the Hissho is a sibling in arms. To disrupt an observance, rob them of an earned kill or honorable death is a great dishonor upon a Hissho and their entire clan(and a good way to end up dead).
Hissho are respectful and faithful friends, and they serve as great allies and these bonds are respected among their entire clan as not honoring them is highly dishonorable.
