NEW FEATS

Edgemaster's Oath:You must spend at least five minutes each day inflicting damage equal to your level on yourself. As long as you abide by this oath, you gain a free raise against Fear tests.

Diamond Back: Whenever an enemy would surprise you, you surprise them instead.

Display of Arms: Your weapons count as instruments and may be used to make Performer Tests.

Dark Soul: Weapons you use count as magical and Daemonic Weapons.

Ow the Edge: The pain of being defeated by you is sharp enough to kill. Attack actions which normally deal no damage, such as Feint and Bull Rush, deal 0k1 damage, plus your Charisma as unkept dice.

OLD NEW FEATS

Poker Face: Reading you is easier said than done. Any attempts to target you with Divination spells or the Scrutiny skill face a static penalty equal to your level.

Professional Insult Fighter: You can use the Monologue/Study, Social Attack, and Wordplay social combat actions in standard combat. Characters you target with social attacks in standard combat can spend reactions to Refute you as if they were in social combat. Social combat actions provoke opportunity attacks when performed in the middle of standard combat.

Strip the Flesh: Whenever dice explode on your melee attack roll, or an attack roll with a ranged weapon that deals X damage or has the Scatter property, the target must make a Constitution test (TN 15) or suffer Blood Loss.

NEW OLD NEW FEATS

Belly Drum
You do harm to yourself to amp yourself up. As a half action in Combat you may Cut your current hp in half. Increase melee damage rolls by the amount of hp lost to this feat until the end of the scene. The hp lost to this feat may not be healed or recovered during the same scene the hp is lost.

This is a mostly port of Kwak's old class, Edgemaster. Someone pointed out it was still missing and since I think it somewhat funny I figured I can port it, since Kwak has sadly departed. I was a but in on the joke since I made a swordschool for the class, so it was left somewhat hanging before.

I added breakdowns of the new feats from other classes that didn't have descriptions. I also replaced the old Challenge with Professional Insult Fighter, the feat's modern version.
I'll probably change Edgemaster's Oath honestly. It was changed from something else before, but the new version doesn't do very much. Perhaps that is purposeful.

Alrighty, I haven't gotten around to changing further things but the new homebrew feat that involved hurting yourself to do more damage seemed like it would fit here very well. Thank's Traskus.
Obviously, the bonus is static and not rolled dice or anything.

Fair point GuardianTempest. It doesn't seem so bad on its own, but then you could just cut your HP down to 0 from where ever you may be by halving it repeatedly.
I made the halving a half action for now so you're at least restricted to doing it once per round. Hopefully that will be enough. Of course, now since it has its own action typing it means I could make "an Action (Belly Drum)" based Sword School or Gun Kata, which would be hilariously stupid.

Well the inspiration for it was I believe from another homebrew option for another game rather than directly from the mons. In regard to the Mon move, it isn't directly limited in that manner so much as practically: if your attack falls and you have more than half your maximum hp you can do it again.

Doing it multiple times was intentional for the feat, just not all at once. It's based on your current HP rather than maximum here so it's functional if used more than once, although you'll see diminishing returns as your damage bonus each time grows by an amount usually no more than half what it did previously.

The big concern would be if someone was able to heal perpetually so they could continually use the feat. A werewolf for example may try to achieve that and I considered calling it magical to try and restrict that. Since the returns diminish it will probably not be worth the half action expenditure each round to cut your HP from 2 to 1 for +1 melee damage. If that is an issue language could be added specifying a restriction to combat so a werewolf can't try to continually cut and punch down a building.

If need be, as an option it could be reformed to reduce by half your Maximum HP rather than current and only allow it to be done once per scene, functionally ensuring you always get a large damage bonus and making it easier to keep track, although at this time I don't think that is required. Other views and opinions are appreciated though.

I have multiple ideas:
1. Make you deal wounds to yourself equal to half of your maximum, to better emulate Pokemon mechanics AND make it also very risky.
2. Maybe make those HP unrecoverable until the end of combat?
3. Rename the feat to Hara-Killer, make it a full action. Fluff is "You must first impale yourself and learn what it's like to impale others." then something something "may spend a Full Action stabbing yourself and gain damage boost equal to half of your maximum". I remember a weapon from Dark Souls 2 (Bewitched Alonne Sword) that allows you to stab yourself to deal extra damage.
4. Alternatively, full action to make a damage roll to yourself and count the wounds dealt. Allows stabbing multiple times but only for a limited maximum.

Also, remove Lion Heart and make the default schools Viae and Dark Edge (which aren't potholed)

I wasn't the one that came up with the feat initially, although I saw a funny opportunity and somewhat appropriate to use it and sprung into action. I'm not certain how much I'd want to start editing it and messing it up.

I considered making it unrecoverable. It may be a good option. If it is a once-per scene maximum hitpoints thing that you can do I probably wouldn't. Half your current hitpoints it always somewhat risky; if you have a lot then you've done a lot of damage to yourself. Losing a half action to lose 10 hp for instance may not be worth the +10 static damage on each melee attack. If you have a truly enormous amount, such as 50, +25 static is quite notable but doing 25 hp to yourself first is again a gamble. Then spending another half action to go from 25 to 13 for +12 damage again (total +37, ouch) is impressive but you've likely messed yourself up more than your enemies would have at that point.

I think for now I'll make it unrecoverable but still allow you to keep halving your health if you want to soften yourself up for your enemies that way. I'll touch base with the feat's original author as well to get his insight too.
As for fluff, it's true that Belly Drum isn't really an edgy name although that is fun in a poser-edgy kind of way. As it is the fluff does indicate you're hurting yourself; I'd leave the specifics of it if that means stabbing yourself directly to how the player prefers to fluff it. I believe it is intentional from a mechanical perspective it isn't wounding though, just reducing hitpoints.

While Trigger weapons are a bit of a mess, I feel somewhat obligated to leave Lion Heart on the class since it was Kwak's class and his sword school. Dark Edge was made specifically for the class way back when so it always ended up with an odd OR in there.

I appreciate the feedback. I'll get to potholing. This and other things, most of my stuff really needs their potholes updated. I went and removed most of the bad ones but didn't feel like updating the new ones at the time.

Alright, joke's over, time to move the feats back where they belong and fix some leftover copypaste errors. By that I mean Fearless should go back to Level 4 or 5 (swap it with Divine Bond's place?), and Devastating Blow should be corrected to Crushing Blow, unless it's meant to be devastating critical?

The OR martial selection is a relic of old design. You could keep all 3 sword schools by omitting one of the gun katas. Maybe remove gravity ski since Daemon Trigger now lets you do the "teleport behind you" gimmick.
