Obfuscatium
Obfuscatium is one of the rarest materials encountered around the great wheel, however this is not because of a lack of natural occurance. It's due to the near impossiblity of finding and mining Obfuscatite ore in order to smelt Obfuscatium.
In both it's natural and refined state, Obfuscatium has several properties that make incredibly useful - namely it's absorptive, refractive and reflective properties which cause its to become almost completely optically invisible. It bends incoming light sources around itself and creates the illusion of becoming almost transparent, as though there was nothing there at all and blending itself in with its surroundings.
It's second property is much more fascinating and has caused bafflement to mineralogists and scientists, the surface of Obfuscatium absorbs sound waves making it an excellent noise dampener and sound proofer - if you could find enough of it to do so.
Finally and perhaps strangest of all, is that it will produce a temporary local numbing sensation upon any organic area it touches. This leaves those holding items forged of Obfuscatium the feeling of being empty handed and those injured by it unaware that they've even been hurt - for a short while at least...
Magical Weapons, Armor and Bionics:
Melee Weapon: Unaware Targets hit by attacks will remain Unaware until they become Heavily Wounded or pass a Perception Test equal to double their remaining hit points. Gain +1k0 on all weaponry tests made with weapon except attack rolls, this includes Disarm, Parry and Feint actions.
Ranged Weapon: Gain the Compact property and the weapon no longer makes noise when firing.
Special Ammunition: Unaware Targets hit by attacks will remain Unaware until they become Heavily Wounded or pass a Perception Test equal to double their remaining hit points. Any attacks that miss or do not deal wounds will also not alert the target.
Armor: +1k0 to Stealth for each area covered by the armor (Head, Arms, Body, Legs).
Bionic Arm: Gain +2k2 to all Larceny and Stealth tests that would involve this arm.
Bionic Locomotion: You gain +2k0 to Stealth tests made involving movement as your footsteps no longer make noise and do not leave footprints.
Bionic Heart: Once per session you can stop your breathing, slow your heart rate and pause all bodily functions that are usually detectable allowing you to become virtually unnoticeable. This allows you to automatically pass all stealth checks for one round, or one test. Whichever is longer.
Promethean Asset:
Obfuscatium: Obfuscatium is a nigh-invisible self-camouflaging substance that absorbs sound and refracts lights away from itself. As a free action you can spend Pyros to add your Generation as rolled dice to all stealth tests until the end of the scene.
