Soulsteel is a haunted material forged from the plasm and corpus of an ephemeral being. It is a jet black metal with an eerie texture that resembles screaming faces. Smiths capable and willing to work with Soulsteel are rare, as many of them suffer unfortunate accidents after finishing their masterworks. In spite of this, Soulsteel is popular with necromancers and others of their ilk who have an unhealthy fascination with death. It goes without saying that the very existence of Soulsteel makes the Raven Queen quite pissy.
Weapons and armor made from Soulsteel are deceptively light, as if only a fraction of their mass exists in realspace. Nobody knows if a ghost retains consciousness after being forged into Soulsteel, nor does anybody really wants to.
Melee Weapon: Your attacks make your target lose a number of resource points equal to your level, to a maximum of their HP lost from the attack.
Ranged Weapon: This weapon ignores cover.
Special Ammunition: Your attacks make your target lose a number of resource points equal to your level, to a maximum of their HP lost from the attack.
Armor: This armor provides Aura 2. Enemies face a -1k0 penalty to hit.
Bionic Arm: You can use this arm to manipulate objects in the Umbra from the Materium. The opposite (manipulating normal objects from the Umbra) can be done as well.
Bionic Locomotion: You can ignore any penalties from difficult terrain when using these legs.
Bionic Heart: They said implanting a Soulsteel Heart in your chest was a terrible idea, but why would you let that stop you? If you would burn a Hero Point to survive, roll 1d10. On a 5 or lower, the hero point is not burned, but you lose 1 Devotion and gain 2d10 Insanity instead. Pretty spooky, right?
Promethean Material Asset

Soulsteel is a haunted metal forged from the moaning souls of the dead. You may spend one Pyros as a half action to become incorporeal (as per the Phasing trait) for a number of rounds up to your Generation.
