Homebrew Race: Gravelborn
Descendants of rogue golems, Gravelborn are a stout, and sturdy people that share a natural connection to the earth, and elementals of the Umbra. Gravelborn start off as small as pebbles, but quickly grow into lumbering goliaths. Without fear of hunger, or age many Gravelborn are content to just sit around letting time bring moss, and vines to their stony skin. When these stone men are called to action however they can achieve a frightening top speed, tumbling over rock and boulder to crush foes under their massive weight. The size of a Gravelborn has less to do with age, and more to do with ambition. The largest of the Gravelborn tend to be the most active, and the more active Gravelborn tend to set out on adventure past the mountains and canyons they call home.
Gravelborn are not as tempted by money as most of the races. They need no shelter, or food, or drink. When a Gravelborn accepts a job it is either in pursuit of some greater goal, or because they have faith in the job itself. Gravelborn inspired to travel the Great Wheel are rare, and those with enough aspiration as to become Exalted are fewer still. Make no mistake, a non-Exalted Gravelborn is more than a challenge for most, however those that do become Exalted are viewed as invincible. While their people are glossed over as passive, and irrelevant they are each born with tenacity, and might few living beings can match. A Gravelborn must trust themselves on their journeys, as the Great Wheel is a dangerous place with many mysteries unknown to their sheltered people, and true allies are hard to come by.

Mountainback Gravelborn
The chiefs of Gravelborn society are known as Mountainbacks. The Mountainbacks grow to noticeably larger proportions to better represent their societal status through their physical stature. While they often lack the tribal title, lone Gravelborn can also grow to such heights, most commonly when they are not under direct leadership.
