Kinetic Crystal
Kinetic crystal (sometimes called crack-glass) is actually a self-replicating bacteria with a crystalline structure that reacts violently to outside stimuli, making it an excellent propellant or fuel. It is found deep on the ocean floor of planets, where the pressure can keep it from overgrowing.
To create objects out of Kinetic Crystal, it is grown around a plasteel mold and fed huge amounts of energy. Kinetic Crystal itself is a brilliant purple.
Melee Weapon: Once per scene, when you roll damage, you can choose to deal X damage and deal an additional +2k2. You may spend a Hero Point to refresh this ability.
Ranged Weapon: Once per scene, when you roll damage, you can choose to deal X damage and deal an additional +2k2. You may spend a Hero Point to refresh this ability.
Ammunition: The weapon gains X damage and Blast 1. If it already has Blast, increase it by 1.
Armor: The first time you are hit by a melee attack in a scene, the attacker takes Xk2 X damage to the arms, where X is the original, unmodified AP provided by the armor. You may spend a Hero Point to refresh this ability.
Bionic Arm: Once per scene, when you perform an action with this arm that requires a test, you can choose to gain +2k2 to the test. You may spend a Hero Point to refresh this ability.
Bionic Locomotion: Once per scene, you can choose to either double your speed for one round or add +2k2 to a single Athletics or Acrobatics test. You may spend a Hero Point to refresh this ability.
Bionic Heart: It's like installing a Turbo for your heart! Once per scene, you can can choose to gain +1 to Strength and Dexterity for the rest of a scene. You may spend a Hero Point to refresh this ability. However, each time you use this ability it inflicts a cumulative +2k2 X damage roll to your gizzards, ignoring AP, at the end of the scene. This damage can't be prevented.
Promethean Asset: Kinetic Crystal
Your Unarmed strikes deal X damage. In addition, every time you spend Pyros, you gain a cumulative +1 bonus to all tests that lasts until the end of a scene.
