What the hell's a "sword," anyway?
A sword is a long bit of sharp metal with a short haft to hold it by. In general terms, that's a non-sentient Melee weapon in the Ordinary, Two-Handed, Fencing, Chain, or Parrying groups that deals Rending damage. So... knives, any melee weapon with the word "sword" or a descriptor of a type of sword in its name (if you're reading this you can read Wikipedia, so there's no excuses), and definitely daiklaives of all kinds. If a Reconfigurable weapon meets this criteria in only one of its modes, it is only considered to be a sword while in that mode, and any spells that rely on it as a focus end when changed from that mode.
And just so we're clear? Unless stated otherwise (and it probably won't be), Gladiotheurgy spells deal damage as weapon attacks. While they're created by a spell and are thus considered magical weapons, the damage they deal is still from a weapon and is thus affected by the target's Armor, not their Aura.

Weapons created by this spell have one clip's worth of ammunition and can't be reloaded. This spell cannot be used to acquire weapons with the Reconfigurable special quality. If you have the Quick Draw feat, casting this spell is a Free Action.

If the blade leaves the caster's hands, it disappears immediately, though not without belting out a final threat, prompting one last fear test from everyone present.
