Mycosynth is a green crystal that grows as if alive and if left unattended turns everything it touches into more of itself. Mycosynth deposits are a good clue toward Modron presence and an crystal forest jutting up from the ground is usually the preamble to their awakening. Artifacts buried (or even just planted) into the ground create an ever-spreading fungus-like crystal lattice. Prolonged exposure to mycosynth causes machines to take on organic traits and vice versa. This is called the "obliterator virus" and should be curbed immediately. When kept under controlled conditions, mycosynth has the capacity to turn something into something else. Melee Weapon: You may select the type of damage (E, I, R, X) these attacks inflict. Ranged Weapon: This weapon gains the Biotic property, but only needs to spend 1 resource point/take 1 level of fatigue to reload the weapon. Ammunition: You may select the type of damage (E, I, R, X) these attacks inflict. Armor: You may select what type of damage (E, I, R, X) an attack hitting a location protected by this armor inflicts. Effects that determine damage type (like melee weapon or ammunition above) cancel out their effects and the damage is whatever the attack's native damage type is. Bionic arm: One gear item or weapon may be fully integrated into this arm, leaving that arm's hand free while in use. Bionic heart: The user can consume any biomass safely and gain sustenance from it. Bionic locomotion: The user may treat the terrain as one step less difficult than it is. Promethean Asset: This crystal lattice has the ability to perform matter-energy transfer without blowing everything up. The Promethean may consume one liter of vehicle-grade fuel (petroleum, diesel, rocket fuel, etc.) to recover 1 pyros. This fuel must be on-hand, with the Promethean. This is a full action in combat.

Changed the promethean asset to something more like blood of io. It restores less, but is easier to get. The old one was too niche.

Darn, the Drej/Mycosynth promethean combo is dead. A shame, but the new version is better overall I'd argue.

Obligatory "what amount of solid fuel would you need" in situations where you want to chow down on a whole lot of coal, or maybe eat someone's car battery?

Liters are also used to measure the volume of solids.

So if I’m reading this right, if a Promethean gets the dermal plating cybernetics made of this stuff they can turn all the damage the receive into E type and gain pyros from it at gen 4. Would the plating armor also stack with their integrated armor since it is armor from being a hyper cyborg

A cursory reading of both reveals the answer is no. Promethean's Integrated Armor does not stack with other sources of armor, nor is it any form of cybernetic to meet Dermal Plating's exception.

But like a Promethean whole thing is that they are stuffed to the gills with cybernetics how does it not count. Also doesn’t almost all armor say it doesn’t Stack and stuff like dermal plating and hearthstone bracers being exceptions to the rule and overrule the other armor. Would you still get the armor perk from having plating

Nothing, absolutely nothing in Promethean gives you cybernetics on its own. You get none of them unless you actually buy them out of Inheritance, Artifact, or other resources. Integrated Armor is just that... armor, that doesn't stack with other armor, enabling you to not have to wear separate armor.
Dermal Plating makes its exception only for cybernetics, not for Prometheans.

Shit like this is why I made robot master.

Ok, I’m sorry if I upset you, I wasn’t sure so I was asking question. But can at least see I why I would think it’s weird that there’s a distinction between the two.

Nah, you didn't upset me.
Gameplay mechanics be like that. If prometheans got artifact bonuses to everything based on their material asset out of the gate they'd be op as daemonhost. Robot master exists so you have an avenue to work for it.

Honestly though my SM gave me the material assets for all parts except bionic heart, he just gave them to me during character creation. Didn’t even ask for them he just said I could have them. It good but I don’t think it’s busted

Hey if it works for you it works for you, but I have to assume people aren't doing that. I have my opinions on that but I try not to be a killjoy (to varying results).
