Sometimes, a berk comes home and finds that their home has been burgled. This sucks for them. However, sometimes they come home and find that their home is being burgled, which sucks a lot more for them, because now they have to deal with a panicked burglar who's in the middle of trying to both stop the owner calling law enforcement and get away. Those souls who are the criminal side of the equation tend to find Thieves' Honour handy.
The key act of Thieves' Honour is Larceny, the act of stealing things, preferably without being noticed. It's also the ability to identify weak spots in security systems - including armour. There was no formal development process for this Sword School - it just sort of emerged from the collective panicked actions of members of the criminal fraternities caught in the act.

Nerevar's Lockpick | 8 | If this attack causes critical damage, the target dies if they have no Hit Points. |
