Conflict is widespread across the Great Wheel, and weapons are too, as a result. However, certain Crystal Spheres, whether down to a lower level of technology or because of cultural differences, have fewer, poorer quality weapons than the wider Wheel. Many of those inhabiting these Spheres do not need artificial weapons, instead preferring their own, natural equipment.
Is is for these people that the Erymanthean Boar Sword School was created, by an odd enclave of Vampire druids, determined that even though their bodies might no longer die naturally, they could still make a very positive impact on the Wheel and defend nature.
Level 1: Cub | ||
Weapon (Brawl) | - | Use Unarmed attacks with your martial manoeuvres. |
Action (Multiple Attacks) | - | Use Multiple Attacks actions in martial manoeuvres. Any advantages applied to this martial manoeuvre are applied to the first attack of the Multiple Attacks action. |
Level 2: Hunter | ||
Instinctive Withdrawal | -2 | During your next turn, you may not take any actions except movement actions that don't move you closer to enemies other than the target of this attack. |
Hunter's Finesse | 2* | This attack deals +1k0 damage. If you used a natural weapon to make it, it instead deals +0k1 damage. |
Level 3: Long Strider | ||
Skill (Animal Ken) | -1 | As part of this attack, make an Animal Ken test against the static defense of the target. If it fails, the attack fails. |
Lunatic High | 1* | If this attack hits, increase your initiative by 1 for each time you took this advantage for the rest of the combat. |
Level 4: Lord of the Wild | ||
Mastery (Red in Tooth and Claw) | - | Your unarmed attacked are treated as though they were made using natural weapons. If a Brawl attack you make uses a weapon that is already a natural weapon, instead, it deals +1k1 damage. |
Blood Fang | 2 | If this attack hits, you recover 1 level of fatigue. If you used a natural weapon to make it, you also regain a lost Hit Point. |
Level 5: Horned God | ||
The Wild Hunt | 4 | The target of this attack must make a TN 20 Willpower test or be unable to attack anyone other than you next turn. If you used a natural weapon to make it, the TN is 30 instead. |
