Many races tell tales to their children which run along the lines of "don't go near the river/forest/swamp/cave without us or the nasty trow will get you". What most of those telling these tales don't realise is that the "nasty trow" in question may actually exist.

Playing a Trow
Nasty, brutish and short. Three words that describe the lives of most Trow. Trow either live in enclaves in the wilds, where they engage in a fight for survival every day, or in ghettos, where they usually get involved in gangs and hence engage in a fight for survival every day. It is the rare Trow that manages to "make it", as it were, among those who are not Trow, leading to a lack of trust of Trow among other races, who in their turn tend not to trust members of other races due to the discrimination they face, hence the reputation that Trow have - illiterate brutes or dumb muscle for gangs - tends to be reinforced.
However, Trow form deep friendships and strong bonds of loyalty, and it is rare to find a Trow who will engage in battle against a weaker foe - they may hunt for food, but they won't kill random strangers for the sake of it. In addition, if a Trow makes up her mind to do something, it's not easy to sway her from her path. Some mistake this for stubborness, but a well-reasoned argument can sometimes be enough to change a Trow's mind.
Among themselves, Trow speak Terran, a language which sounds a lot like someone gargling a mouthful of rocks - lots of hard consonants and very few vowels. Terran travels well in the wild, making it easy for a group of hunters to keep in communication with each other without needing to be close to each other. However, among other races, Trow usually default to Trade, which has led to a trend among some Trow leaders of actively recommending isolationism in order to preserve cultural identity.
Sample Heroes
Taken as a child by kidnappers, Snapfinger was injected with chemicals and implanted with cybernetics to hasten his growth, a process which worked as planned, but also irreversibly shattered his mind. When the final roboticization process was completed, he was no longer sane, and used his new power to slaughter his kidnappers. Making his way to the nearest trow enclave, he now lurks around the edge of it, haunting the place closest to his few remaining childhood memories and terrorizing his possible distant relatives.
Volog was the victim of a serial killer. A serial killer who burned his victims to death. The anguish and sheer mind-numbing terror that Volog felt was so strong that it tore the Warp, creating a hole that Volog's soul was exactly the right "size" and "shape" to fill. His subsequent return to the Materium occured in the midst of his own ashes, cementing his desire to hunt down his killer. He now uses his rage to become an unstoppable juggernaut, bringing his killer to inevitable justice.
The trow are a race of large humanoids, who are largely (among those who know of their existence) thought of as ugly, stupid, brutish or some combination of the three. However, they are a surprisingly honourable people, pushed to the edge of most civilised areas by prejudice and unfounded fear. On the other hand, this has fed into their culture, so it could be argued that this prejudice is something of a self-fulfilling prophecy - the trow are thought of as unfit for "normal" civilisation, resulting in them being pushed out of normal civilisation and having to adapt to distinctly uncivilised surroundings, thus making them unfit for normal civilisation.

Racial Feats
Ironsand Survivor
Most trow have an instinctive fear of fire, and you do too, but you're much more able to resist its effects. You gain +3 AP and Aura against fire, whether natural or otherwise.
Yhetee Blood
While cold may freeze the very bones of others, you shrug it off like it's nothing. You are immune to effects inflicted by cold, natural or otherwise.
Horned One
You may not have actual horns as such, but your tusks are large, and can be very, very sharp. You gain a Horn natural weapon with the following statline: [Melee; 1k2 I or R; Brawling].
Stomp and Howl
You can channel your inner rage to become terrifying on the battlefield. Once per scene, as a full action which does not provoke, you can stamp your feet and bellow at the top of your lungs to increase your Fear rating by 1 for a scene. This counts as making a melee attack against an enemy for the purposes of Frenzy.

Heart of Stone
Supposedly, Trow were formed directly from stone and given life. You seem to be evidence of that. You gain natural armour equal to your level and +1 Resilience.
