Businesses employ corporate strategies to maximize profits from the allotted time and personnel. Those strategies can be applied in combat to empower battlefield performance. That is the foundation of the Cubicle Crusader, a buzzword-compliant Sword School that uses innovative solutions to enable quick wins by building team capabilities in the new economy: the Action Economy.
Ordinary weapons are cost-effective and sustainable, a cutting edge in today's competitive environment. Academic Lore remains the core competency of this Sword School, which requires an intricate understanding of group dynamics and synergism.
Level 1: Intern
- Weapon (Ordinary): Use Ordinary weapons with your martial maneuvers.
- Action (Aid Another): Use Aid Another actions in martial maneuvers. If you use this to aid another character's attack, any attack-related benefits from the special attack apply to the aided attack.
Level 2: Employee
(-2) Low-Hanging Fruit: This attack can only be used on targets whose turn comes immediately before or after yours.
(2) Incentivize: Targets hit by this attack grant Combat Advantage to the next attack done by an ally.
Level 3: Supervisor
(-1) Skill (Academic Lore): As a part of this attack, make an Academic Lore test against the target's Static Defense. If it fails, the attack fails.
(3) Cornerstone Leverage: If this attack hits, you gain an additional Half Action that can only be used for Aid Another.
Level 4: Manager
- Mastery (Best Practices): When you Aid Another in combat you may affect an additional amount of allies equal to half your martial level, rounded up. Only one person can benefit from additional bonuses.
(4) Career-Limiting Move: Targets hit by this attack lose a Half Action, if the attack roll has at least three raises then they lose a Full Action instead.
Level 5: Chairman
(5) Return On Investment: This attack's damage roll gains additional rolled dice equal to half the number of times an attack you aided hits since the beginning of the current encounter, rounded up. If applied to an Aid Another action, the bonus is counted from the character aiding.
