Sometimes, the easiest way to solve a problem is to punch a long-haired prettyboy in the face. Sometimes, the long-haired pillock won't come close enough to punch, so the next-best solution is to chuck something heavy at his annoying face instead. The Hulking Hurler is a fighting style developed around this idea, known to be used by various large races across the Wheel, though its specific origins are unknown... probably Orkish, given the emphasis on simply krumpin' grotz with whatever comes to hand, not to mention how common it is to see them simply fastball a jammed bolter at someone in a firefight.
Hulking Hurler's key skill is Brawl, representing the utter simplicity of fighting with whatever's at hand instead of complicating things with actual weapons. Humans practicing the style have been known to lob steel balls, while Orks and Goliaths have been seen picking up and throwing vehicles of various pedigree. The style greatly favors large, heavy objects, so it's rare to see it used by the smaller races... though they are occasionally used by it, as ammunition.
Level 1: Apprentice
-Weapon (Thrown): Use Thrown melee weapons in martial maneuvers.
-Action (Knock Down): Use Knock Down actions in martial maneuvers. Apply attack bonuses to the opposed Strength test instead.
Level 2: Initiate
(-2)Caber Toss: This attack can only be made with an object requiring both hands to lift. An object of less than two-thirds your Size does not require both hands to lift.
(2)Crashing Wave Throw: Apply this only to an attack using a thrown melee weapon. If the attack hits, the target is knocked prone.
Level 3: Journeyman
(-1)Skill (Brawl): As part of this attack, make a Brawl check against the Static Defense of the target. If it fails, the attack fails.
(X)Forceful Throw: Apply this only to an attack using a thrown melee weapon. If this attack hits, the target is pushed X*2m away from you.
Level 4: Master
-Mastery (REALLY Throw Anything): You can pick up and throw an object up to twice your Size (+2 if you're Size 4 or less) as an improvised weapon that deals XkY damage. X is equal to half the object's Size, and Y is equal to half of your Strength (round up).
(4)Fastball Special: You can throw an ally for this attack. The thrown ally takes no damage, and may Charge the target as part of this attack.
Level 5: Grandmaster
(4)Strike!: Apply this only to an attack using a thrown melee weapon. This attack hits every creature in a 1m wide line up to the maximum range of the weapon.
