I'm on his side for this one. This thread is mainly for player-usable artifacts. If they're not to be available for player use I would attach them to a compilation thread. That's not to say these things can't stay in this thread, you could attach restrictions like the Dragon Slayer. Although as with Poppy's use of the (pre-nerf) Hela Hammer, a sufficiently determined player will build around drawbacks for maximum effect.
Edit: ach puch I got the new page post. I'll add a new artifact later here.

Crawling Gauntlet (Artifact 3)This small creature resembles a disembodied hand and forearm, scuttling along on its five legs like some sort of aberrant pet. In this way, it functions as a companion granted by the Obtain Familiar feat. While worn, it functions as a symbiont gauntlet, except that attacks using it deal R damage and are treated as natural weapons. If obtained using the free dots from the Daelkyr racial power, it requires one less dot but gains the Living quality, requiring regular maintenance (or being donned) by the Daelkyr bound to it. Living Breastplate (Artifact 4)This creature resembles nothing so much as an oversized crab, functioning as a companion granted by the Obtain Familiar feat. While worn, it functions as a symbiont carapace chest, using its legs to hold tight to its master's body. If obtained using the free dots from the Daelkyr racial power, it requires one less dot but also requires regular maintenance (or being donned) by the Daelkyr bound to it. Tentacle Whip (Artifact 4)An odd, serpentine invertebrate that functions as a companion granted by the Obtain Familiar feat. While worn, it functions as a symbiont flail with the Anchored quality, clamping its jaws down on its host's wrist and coiling its long body around the arm when not in use. If obtained using the free dots from the Daelkyr racial power, it requires one less dot but gains the Living quality, requiring regular maintenance (or being donned) by the Daelkyr bound to it. Folded Sibling (Artifact 3)This exceptionally flat creature resembles a skate or ray, gliding through the air. It functions as a companion granted by the Obtain Familiar feat. It resembles a long coat while worn, and functions as a suit of symbiont armor covering the body, arms, and legs, despite appearing to be otherwise normal clothing, provided that the host is not wearing any other armor. If obtained using the free dots from the Daelkyr racial power, it requires one less dot but also requires regular maintenance (or being donned) by the Daelkyr bound to it.

Ring of Life Protection simplified and now functions like in the source material. It's more of an investment than Nine Lives. I understand that certain exalts can exploit this (e.g. Sparks and Unshackled) but I'll address that inter-homebrew issue if it gets too bad. My alternate idea was to make it cost a flat 300 XP per use which is pretty steep but could also result in multiple uses in the same scene.
Lloyd's Shield Ring rounds down to 0.

Heart of Michi (Artifact 4): This stone bionic heart, taken from the body of the great cat god, channels the power of cats through the user's blood. A character implanted with the Heart of Michi invariably grows a tail and cat ears, which function as the witch mark degeneration. However, they gain a rank of the 'Nekomancy' magical power, and may advance it as if it was always part of their current class track. Nekomancy spells are cast with Nekomancy + Fellowship, and if Polymorph is cast as a Nekomancy spell then the target it turned into a large cat instead of a wolf.
Nekomancy spells: Level 1: Image, Charm Person Level 2: Luck, Invisibility Level 3: Polymorph, Suggestion Level 4: Unluck, Improved Invisibility Level 5: Permanent Image

Artifacts of the lord of Dawn
Zoaholic (Artifact 5)
An unholy huge machine made from an unkown material that looks like a giant fleshy flower. It connects the soul of the user with whoever touches it, allowing the user to always know their location as per the spell Discern Location, automatically suceeding and with no saving throw possible. Additionally, the user may concentrate his conscience as a full action to watch and hear anything a linked person is currently experiencing without them noticing. During this vision the user is still aware of his surroundings and he may end this state at any time as a free action. Curse Repelling Cartridges (Artifact 5)
Canteens of heretical technology filled with the liquified and undying bodies of people. Carried on the person, these cartridges (six in total) protect the user by using the captured poor soul to take any curse the user would suffer. When the wearer fails a saving throw made to resist a magical effect (including psy phenomena/perils) or suffer mutation one of the cartridges is used, with whatever liquified creature was inside finally finding peace in death. Needless to say, to recharge these cartridges it is necessary to use a sapient organic creature, removing their organs and transforming them through a gruesome process that takes the form of a continuous Medicae Test (TN30). It is recommended that the doctor at least has the mercy to fill the cartridge with drugs to induce a stage of ecstasy and calm in the victim, but this is not necessary for the cartridge to function. Gangway: Ascending to the Morning Star (Artifact 3)A best quality lasgun mounted on a light power helmet (AP10) that may be worn by itself or attached to replace the integrated helmet of armors that encompass ALL body locations. Besides the regular benefits of best quality and being arm(head) mounted, the Gangway may be fired into melee with no penalties Sparagmos:Origin-guiding Light (Artifact 4)A weapon attached to the elbow that fires a powerful magical beam of light or concentrates it into a laser blade to fight in melee. Its an arm mounted meltagun that is reconfigurable into a power sword Shaker: Curse Needle (Artifact 5)An arm mounted needle gun that shoots warpstone bullets. Far Caress: Touch the moon (Artifact 4)An arm mounted symbiont web pistol Canopy onto dawnWhile an artifact in the source material, for DtD the attire worn by the lord of dawn is represented well as a best quality light power armor.

Augment of Metal (Artifact 2)These are small patches or jewelry items, primarily made up of silver, iron, or gold, that allow the wearer's natural weapons and weaponless unarmed attacks the benefits of their material. They reach deep into the body and soul to imbue the wearer with the magical energy of their component materials... the body and soul can only provide for one such imbuement at a time. Wearing two or more different sets of augments and/or a material imbument causes both to cancel out, as well as wearing an augment or imbuement if you have a feat, power, etc. that has a similar effect.

Rotten Scythe Jabberwock (Artifact 5)This Grimscythe was forged from the scratching claws of the void-dragon Jabberwock, and promises certain death to those it strikes. It has the Tearing and Festering properties, but deals 3k2 Rending damage instead of 6k2. Violent Sword Bandersnatch (Artifact 5)This Grand Daiklave was forged from the soul of a Bandersnatch and shudders with frumious wrath, getting progressively angrier the longer its shunned. For every round of combat that an attack is not made with this weapon, it deals an extra 1k1 damage and 1 more penetration on the next attack made with it in the current combat. The bonus can stack up to nine times (for a total of +9k9 damage and +9 penetration), and if it does, then the attack may be used against all enemies within 9 meters. If you ever enter a frenzy (as per the feat), the sword gains the incendiary property until you calm down or it leaves your hands. Mad Bow Jubjub (Artifact 5)This bow, shaped like a pair of wings, contains the power of madness, and its arrows let loose a shrill scream when fired. It's Rate of Fire is S/4, and you add your strength as rolled die to the damage (as if it were a melee weapon). By spending a full action to listen to the bow's mad screams you gain +1 strength and the auto-stabilized trait, but treat your wisdom as 1 until the end of combat, and you must make a ranged attack or move closer to an enemy on each of your turns. You may also do this as a free action by gaining 1d5 insanity points, or as a reaction in response to gaining any amount of insanity while holding the bow.
