Alternative Balor: Azrael
Balors that instead of having inherited a physical cursed wadjet eye, they have inherited spiritual eyes known as Magan, Mystic Eyes. The recipients of these spiritual eyes are capable of altering reality with their mere sight, and unlike the Iron Balor, the Azrael, called the holders of beautiful eyes, are frequently hailed as gods or saviors, rather than recipients of a curse.
Powers
Jagan: You may fix your gaze on any single creature you can see as a free action. If the target of your gaze is killed, leaves line of sight, or becomes jaded, you may switch your gaze to any other valid target as a free action. Your gaze is beautiful and captivating, but uncannily unnatural. The target of your gaze takes a check on Dodge, Parry, Refute, and opposed tests made against you.
Magan Dormant behind your deceitfully mundane eyes lies the power to alter reality. You can activate your mystic eyes to unleash their powers. Choose a Magical School, it becomes your Magan. You gain ranks in this magical school when you raise Vision and you cast its spells using Vision + Wisdom instead of the normal Magic Test. These count as spell-like abilities, they cannot be fettered or pushed and do not cause psychic phenomena. At Vision 3 you are able to cast them pushed, applying the corresponding rules for psy phenomena
Slave to destiny: While the Balor's eyes are windows into the core of their being, the Azrael has their sense of self leaking out of their eyes. While your Magan is active, you take a static penalty on all Constitution and Alignment tests equal to the number of Tears missing from your pool. You also suffer from general discomfort and mild headaches, albeit not to an extent that affects you in any significant manner.
Sight out, Mind out: As long as your Magan are deactivated or covered you are effectively mortal to all outside inspection, except for your reflection in the umbra, and cannot use any of your Azrael powers. You may activate or deactivate your eyes as a free action.
Power Stat: Vision: As an Azrael becomes more powerful, the colors and patterns of their magical irises grows ever more complex, becoming like jewels of intense colors
Resource Stat: Tears: An Azrael has maximum Tears equal to their Vision + Perception. Regain 1 Tear at the end of each round your Magan eye is activated. As a free action, you can take 1 wound to the Head (X damage) in order to regain 1 Tear.
*Manifestation of mystics: Spells of your Magan ignore [Focus] and [Somatic] keywords and increase their range by 4*Vision meters. Their melee-range spells change to [Ranged Touch] and hitting a target requires a test of Level+Perception instead of ballistics+dexterity
**Continuous gaze: Gain the Arcane Mark feat. When you target an enemy with your Jagan, you can brand them with your Arcane Mark.
***Split Focus: You can focus on two targets at the same time with your Jagan, so long as they are both in your field of vision. You may target both of them with abilities that target the subject of your gaze, but must spend resource points separately for each.
****Infinite Pattern: You gain the feat Eldritch Trick. When you use a magan spell, you may spend tears to add more Eldritch trick options or give one extra raise to a succesful casting test per tear spent
*****Vijñaptimātratā; You can overexert your eyes to gain momentary vision of infinite possibilities and pursue the future that ensures your victory. When the target of your jagan attempts a Reaction to any of your actions you may spend 2 tears to foil it and make such reaction fail automatically.
Azrael Assets
Heterochromia
Your eyes have mutated and your powers have been divided. Choose a second Magical school for your Magan, you start with one rank in it but new ranks do not increase with your Vision, they must be bought separately and are capped at your current Vision. This Asset can be bought after character creation if you haven't taken other Azrael asset (except for kaleidoscope) but at double the cost
Kaleidoscope
You may learn one additional spell for your Magan at a rank you already posses. This Asset may be taken multiple times, and can be purchased after character creation
Dame's Eye
Your Magan sees beyond reason and guides your bullets to sure victory. Gain 1 rank of the Immortal Smoke or Elemental Gearbolt gunkata. You may advance this gunkata as if it appeared in your class progression. You can spend 2 tears to use a trick shot that a target of you Jagan has used in the same scene
Mabo
Known with the misnomer of mystic face, you are specially captivating. Gain the benefits of the Appearance asset. You may fix your gaze on an ally instead of an enemy to grant them a number of floating die equal to half your Vision (rounded up) that work the same way as the Luck spell. They refill at the end of your turn if all have been used. The floating dice are shared between both targets of Split Focus. These dice are lost if you switch your gaze to another target or deactivate your Magan.
Shining Eye
The spiritual eyes posses your body. Once per scene, you can spend 1 Tear as a free action to turn your gaze inward, entering an empowered state as you convert the power of your eyes into physical force. This state lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Vision + Willpower, during which you add twice your Vision to your Speed and as a static bonus to all rolls involving your Strength, and you ignore the non-damaging effects of attacks, but you cannot use your Jagan. Treat this as if it were the Frenzy feat for the purpose of class prerequisites or interactions with other game mechanics, and treat Frenzy as an optional feat if it appears in your class progression.
