thats bloody tears, 17 meters on the radius As blood starts to leak out from the walls, Leere takes another sip. Gazing into his mind yields not but a cold void, as if the further one reaches the further one reaches the deeper it gets. "Ah, my apologies, my family always has been rather, distant, from the ways of the arcane. But, to answer your worries, even in the event of any unexpected delays or even a faster than usual trip, payment will be ready to be handed over upon arrival."

"Could you refrain from repeating this?" Zel asks, glancing at the now bloody walls. "I'm sure it would be of great help if our work environment did not resemble a crime scene."

When Leere replies that he is not representing anyone but himself, she scrutinizes his voice and mannerisms, hoping to arrive at an educated guess about the truth of that statement. Things would be a lot simpler if that were the case.
[Scrutiny roll result: 48]
Sudden motion in her peripheral vision draws Yarrow's eyes; a wall is bleeding. She looks around, confirming that every wall is bleeding, and then turns to Raito and says: "Impressive."
Now, back to the human who still has not told her his name: "I was mistaken; my apologies. I am all too used to being received by middlemen." Then a light jab: "It is good to meet with someone in a position to answer my questions, for once."
"Regarding the packages, are there any particular preparations that we will have to make before they come into our care? Will they require an external power feed, a temperature outside of the typical range, or any other conditions? And how large will these packages be?"

Between the calm confidence of his words, and how he casually just, assumed the resident mind reader had failed to access anything, its brutally apparent that this guy is being absolutely serious with his words, even if he's attempting to maintain a casual atmosphere.
"ah, an excellent question, Ms. Yarrow, no, they shouldn't require any specific equipment to handle them, But do be sure to keep them in separate separate from eachother, twenty feet apart should be good, just to be on the safe side. Aside from that, the trouble is a matter of size. They're, rather large actually. About say, twenty feet tall, ten feet wide. Obviously too big to stow into a personal vessel, too conspicuous for public delivery services."

A click of the tongue in response, Raito withdrawing to cover the gaffe of a psychic bleed. And maybe also to consider the vision given in turn, only the third eye remaining open to keep track of the others.

"how many would be expected to move at most at one time?" Olivier asks with a raised eyebrow hearing the size of them. "There shouldn't be an issue but the ship isn't the most well equipped for stowing large packages."

"well, the fastest route would involve retrieving all three in one loop and delivering them all at the same time, but if you feel it would be better to deliver one at a time, I, suppose I wouldn't object, as long as they're all delivered by the end."

Given his earlier dodge of her probing into how he intends to prove his ability to pay on delivery, Yarrow is tempted to press that point again, but she decides to take a different tack for now.
"It may be difficult to move black boxes that large through a well-ordered port without attracting some eyeballs from on high. Where will we be picking them up from and delivering them to, and would any of your aforementioned close associates happen to be in positions there that can help us ensure quiet delivery? Or will we be relying on our own resources?"

"Its, a bit complicated. Two of the three I have fully secured and just need to be gotten off-world. The third, is...well, I have it located, and I have men working on extracting it, and if the timetables are correct, and they usually are, then it should be ready by the time you arrive. Still, I'll advise not retrieving that one first in case things go a bit off-schedule. In the very worst case, I'll still pay you all the full price if things go wrong with that one. Regarding locations..." Leere pulls a device out from his suit and sets it on the table. There is a faint click, and it unfolds, a holoscreen forming displaying a map of the wheel, with three points highlighted. "The first is a sphere named Isosla, a large sphere filled with multiple smaller spheres, each with only a single access point. Inside THOSE spheres however, well, its rather visible from the outside, but each is effectively a single contained biome isolated from all else, hence the name. I'll contact you with where specifically in there you need to be when you arrive, but do avoid opening the airlocks outside of the sub-spheres, its just as empty there as it is in the void." "Next is Organis, its basically a gigantic ball of biomatter that has smaller life forms running around on, and in it, all locked up in a sphere thats more of a cage than anything else. Shockingly dangerous, shuttle in, grab the package, shuttle out is my advice. Not much there to see if you aren't a biologist or suicidal." "Third....Arcadia. Thats, the complicated one... Tell me, have you ever heard of a planet named Nemausus?"

Result of 31. "Nemausus?" Raito wanders back into the conversation at this, three eyes narrowing. "The 'planet that never was,' if Arcadia's sphere governor is to be believed? You would have us fly into what is essentially a militarized area looking for a needle in a proverbial haystack?"

Result 19 "I've heard of it once or twice. Hushed tones and the like only however.I know well enough however, that Arcardia wants it forgotten."

"Oh no, that would be insane to ask the delivery crew to do that. That's someone ELSE'S job. All I need from you all is to take a brief dive into the outer edge of the sphere, shuttle over the package, then jump out."

Result: 18 Yarrow nods assent at that. "Very well. If all we have to do at Nemausus is shuttle over the package, I'm game. And my crew can run the cordon if we have to. But know that I won't throw the lives of my people away if it comes down to us against the entire Arcadian militia fleet." "I would also like to know how we can expect you to contact us once we have arrived at Isosla. Astropath, or courier? And will we have shared codes to ensure the security of our communications? I'd hate to have to race a gang of thieves for the package."

"I happen to have an associate capable of contacting people in their sleep. When you arrive, he will message you. Simply follow the instructions they give and things will proceed smoothly. Unlike Organis, my people will be stuck out in the open waiting for your arrival, so I hope you can understand why I need to keep the meeting point there under wraps. Speaking of, when you reach Organis, head for the ocean on its back. There's a small trading post on the water there. Go to this address, and tell him that Leere sent you." With that, he sets a sealed envelop onto the table.

She picks up the envelope in one hand, briefly examines its exterior, and leaves it unopened. "Understood."
Clicking the envelope's firm edge against the table, before letting it fall flat, she says: "Now, if any of my associates," meeting the eyes of each other person at the table in turn, focusing on Zel in particular: she has been very quiet so far, "have any further questions, now would be a good time to ask them. There are some points of contract that I would like to go over before concluding this deal, but it would make the most sense to leave them for last."
