Homebrew Alignment: Ganesh
Ganesh, Remover of Obstacles
Ganesh is the primary god in Loxodon scripture. They are the remover of obstacles, guiding patrons through difficult times. Their form is a Loxodon with four arms several holding differing objects often with one hand showing an open palm. Another of their symbols are rats fitted with small clothing signifying how their influence reaches the darkest corners where rats live. It is also symbolic of Loxodon control and manipulation of lesser races such as Skaven. The exact customs one is expected to follow changes over time as Sadhu add and remove scripture.
Each Life Lives a Role
Generally sticking to one's role in life is core to worshipers of Ganesh. In Loxodon society that means never straying from one's Caste while elsewhere it means taking on the profession of one's parents.
The Trials of Rebirth
Another core principal is the cycle of death and rebirth. When one dies they are reborn into a form befitting their Karma achieved in life. A sinful person with negative Karma must suffer the trails of life longer being reborn as low lives and beggars while a life well lived will see one reincarnated as a noble or saint prepared to reach Nirvana and the end of the cycle.
Reaching Nirvana
To reach Nirvana one must seek the three goals: wealth, family, and glory, before finally proving their detachment from all worldly matters by letting it all go and devoting one's self to asceticism and meditation. Only then may one's spirit escape the cycles of rebirth and pass beyond this plane of existence.
Chosen Asset: Mark of Ganesh
Ganesh can remove any obstacle, no matter how great. You may spend 1 Hero Point to either become immune to an environmental hazard such as lava or the vacuum of space for one scene, gain a flight or swim speed equal to your normal speed for one scene, open a locked door, or move a blockade aside. Some exceptionally powerful effects such as those placed by a God might be too powerful to overcome according to your SM in which case the Hero Point is refunded.
