Artificial Night Generator (Rare) - A thorough description of what this gizmo does would take a great deal of time and involve terms like "quantum alignment", "destructive interference" and "depolarization", but a quick and dirty explanation is that when turned on it destroys light within a 1-metre radius, effectively mimicking the effects of a Gloom spell.

Cauldron (Uncommon)A large pot of magical make that spellcasters around the Wheel adore. A cauldron is obviously a vessel to cook food items in, and can be used to craft potions. A cauldron adds a raise to the crafts test to make a potion. They also gain a +1k0 to the focus power test for each other caster who aided in the crafts test who also has ranks in the magic school of the potion's spell, to a maximum of +2k0. Poor quality cauldrons only allow level 1 and 2 potions to be made. Good cauldrons add a raise to the focus power test of the potion's spell, and best quality cauldrons add two raises.

Fire extinguisher (common) It's a fire extinguisher. It extinguishes fires. When used (which takes a half action), a target within 5m who is on fire is no longer on fire. An unwilling target may dodge with a Dexterity Test (TN is equal to 5x the firer's Dexterity, -5 for poor fire extinguishers, +5 for Good or Best). A fire extinguisher has enough flame retardant for five uses before needing to refill/restock.

Voodoo Doll (Uncommon)Upon obtaining this item, nominate a person you have some feeling of love toward. A family member, a lover, a friend, even a comrade in arms. The cloth doll gently throbs with the heartbeat of the individual, emits a warmth equal to the individual (if any), and takes on a stylized resemblance of them including their most recognizable outfit. If the individual dies, the doll stops beating, its colors and warmth fade, and the cause of death becomes apparent on the doll. The doll can then be reassigned to another target of love.

Smoke Sticks (Ubiquitous)A smoke stick is an alchemically treated piece of wood that produces a thick cloud of smoke when broken, either by throwing onto the ground or snapping it in your hands. The cloud produced by smoke sticks has a radius of 1m and lasts 1d5 rounds before dissipating, or less in adverse weather conditions. Land Mine (Varies)Land mines are stationary explosives that are used to destroy or incapacitate infantry or armor, set traps, or provide area denial. The damage, pen, properties, and rarity is determined by the grenade its based on (e.g. a frag mine would have 4k2 X damage, Pen 0, Blast(4), and its rarity is Common) and the trigger can be a motion sensor with a radius of 1m, a trip wire, or pressure trigger set to go off above or below a certain weight. The trigger must be decided when the mine is acquired. Poor quality mines can only be set off by directly stepping on them and cannot have weight limit. Good quality and above can have multiple triggers or a single improved trigger (e.g. increased radius to motion sensor). Its takes a Half Action to place a mine and disarming a mine requires a Full Action TN 15 Tech-Use test (-5 TN if Poor quality, +5 if Good, and +10 if best). Failure means that while the mine has not been disarmed, neither has it gone off. Two or more checks indicate the character has set off the device, suffering the consequences of the explosion. If the grenade has a property that requires a saving throw against an attack roll, the TN to save is 15.Demolition Charge (Rare)A demolition charge is an explosive device commonly used for blowing open doors, breaching bulkheads, and destroying infrastructure. Setting charges is an Extended Action, how long is determined by the SM, and requires a TN 20 Tech-Use test. Success indicates a character has successfully planted an explosive charge, set with the trigger of his choice. Possible triggers are only limited by a character’s imagination, and can include trip wires, timers, proximity sensors, or remote activators. Failure indicates that the explosives will fail to go off when triggered, though the character does not know this until the time of activation. Two or more checks to the roll indicate the character has set the device off prematurely and it explodes while being set! Defusing charges is a Full Action and requires a Tech-Use roll against the Tech-Use test of the individual who set the explosives. Winning the test indicates that the bomb has been diffused. Failure means that while the charge has not been disarmed, neither has it gone off. Two or more checks indicate the character has set off the device, suffering the consequences of the explosion. Defusing multiple charges or complex trigger mechanisms might require an Extended Action, as determined by the SM. A demolition charge explodes for 4k3 X damage and has either the Blast(5) or Blast(3) and Directed Explosion(2). It is possible to rig multiple charges together, requiring another Tech-Use roll per charge, granting +5 damage and Blast(3) for every additional charge. Demolition Charges do double damage to cover and buildings. Melta Bomb (Mythic Rare)Perhaps the most powerful portable explosive in existence, melta bombs use magna-adhesives to adhere to metallic surfaces where they detonate with a lethal shaped charge of intense heat, similar in effect to a melta weapon. They are ideal for destroying bulkheads, vehicle hulls, and other heavily armored targets. The common variety is roughly domed in shape but heavy and unwieldy. Handles on the casing allow the user to heft the bomb and slap it into place against the target surface, but it is not practical to throw (especially should the explosive side be facing the user when it detonates). It takes a Full Action to active and detonates at the end of your next turn. A melta bomb explodes for 6k6 E damage and has Blast(2) and Incendiary properties. The center of the blast bypasses armor, otherwise it has pen 12.

Long Fall Boots have been overhauled as to not obsolete the Catfall feat. The current version is worded in a way that stacks with Catfall regardless if the feat itself can be taken multiple times or not. For posterity, the original version by yog halves incoming wounds after a successful TN 15 acrobatics test (separate from the other acrobatics test to reduce fall damage), and I added the best quality effect which used to be dividing wounds by 3 instead of 2.

Prosthetic hook (Very Common)
Its a prosthetic hook. They replace a lost hand or arm and they do not require any medical knowledge or procedure to put it on and off, taking about half a minute to strap the hook to the arm or take it off, so simple that they cannot be considered cybernetics. By wearing one a character who lost a hand or arm is once again able to use two-handed weapons, and also able to hold or grab items, press buttons, push or pull... Albeit with a penalty of -1k0 to all characteristics and skill tests that require using that hand. The clamp cannot hold weapons well enough to make attacks (but can still make parries). The user halves their dexterity score when matters of fine dexterity are involved. Poor quality hooks are the scary implements that we all know from pirates. They can push, pull and maybe press some buttons or grab things, but its impossible to do anything that requires precision. On the flipside, they can be used as a knife weapon to attack or defend with it, or strap a shield Good quality prosthetic hooks have a self defense laser weapon integrated that works like a dashboard defender, which can be fired with a -1k0 penalty to hit Best quality hooks are quite sophisticated and able to hold and use weapons and items like poor quality cybernetic prosthetic arm

Vanara Reconaissance Device (Rare)Vanara have developed a small device comparable to frostling battle helmets but only needing to be worn over one eye (and ear for anchoring) to keep their combat vests effective. It counts as an auspex and microbead. Good and best quality devices improve both in quality simultaneously, and a best quality devices also functions as a multicompass.

Sacred Oil (Uncommon)Mechanical lubricant blessed by gun cults of the Omnisiah, Kaliber or similar deities that worship machineries. It is sold in packs of 10 doses and when applied to a weapon, for the next 10 hours, the level of its wielder is treated as 2 higher for the purpose of checking for jams. When applied to armor it increases the quality by one step for the next 10 hours, having no effect on best quality armor besides making it clean and pretty. More importantly, it also works as a drug for sentient machinery

Universal Tool (Very Rare)While described as a general tool, it is more of a small handheld device resembling a turnscrew. It has the properties of an implement, a multi-tool, and a combi-tool. It was designed as a watch but the designer put so much into it there was no more room for a clock!

Environment Suit (Uncommon) A environment suit incorporates a re-breather and in addition makes the wearer immune to the effects of environmental radiation and toxins. Higher quality versions are even able to protect against environmental warp exposure
Authors note: "cant I just use a void suit?". Technically no because as written void suits only protect against the void not Chernobyl.

Smartphone (UnCom)
The most commonly used tool for communication around most "civilized" Crystal Spheres, the Smartphone can be compared in much the same way as a Resplendent Personal Assistant. At least, like one can compare a mortal to an Exalt. It combines the features of a Common-quality Chrono (albeit with far less style), a Poor-Quality Pict Recorder, and a Common-quality Dataslate, as well as communication capabilities in any Crystal Sphere with the infrastructure for it and enough space to download mostly useless but mildly amusing stuff onto it. Poor quality smartphones oftentimes suffer from poor connectivity as well as baffling design choices, such as making the audio plug and the charging plug the same. Good-quality smartphones can upgrade one of their functions by one step, and Best-quality smartphones can ugrade another one of their functions by one step.

Grav-Chute (Rare) Used by para-troopers and adrenalin junkies to safely fall from great heights. They rely on suspensor fields to counter gravity to slow descent with two small jets on either side above the shoulders to offer extra braking as well. Unlike a jetpack, Grav Chutes are designed only to allow the user to land safely from a long fall rather than leap into the air. When the character falls while wearing a grav-chute every raise on a falling test counts as two and he can choose to use only Dexterity for the test if the fall was intentional as the chute aids in the descent. Alternatively, the character can activate the thrusters on the chute before a fall and land safely from up to 300m drop. Doing this uses up all the fuel for the thrusters thus making it useless until refilled. Activating the thrusters during a fall is possible but tricky and requires a TN 15 Pilot or Tech-Use + Dexterity test to do it, or TN 25 if the fall was unintentional, which can be attempted multiple times, if you have enough time before going splat that is.

Stillsuit (Uncommon) This had to happen eventually. A stillsuit protects its wearer from the extremes of weather and temperature, and comes with a water purifier and condenser to collect and make drinkable the water the wearer puts out. Poor quality stillsuits lack the water collector and purifier, but they're considered fashion statements in places they aren't needed.
