...Oooh, ok. now I feel like an idiot, I was too focused on the stand's ability rather than stepping back and looking at the name itself.

but of course there's the obligatory "would implementing this actually be a good idea" discussion.

It was already had. The general consensus was "no, it is not."

I do not pretend it's a good idea. Just a fun/interesting one and I want a Sheik/Tetra/Zelda trifecta character.

Reworked Notorious B.I.G.and I've given Earth, Wind and Fire that hybrid form I've been wanting.
Notorious B.I.G. (old) If one half of the Gemini dies for any reason, the other half manifests beside the corpse (if not currently using Splinter Twin). The survivor must spend Schism each day to continue living and has Stuff of Nightmares while in this state. Using Splinter Twin with a dead partner summons a spirit who redirects all damage to the still-living counterpart. When half of the Gemini's maximum Hit Points are recovered (excluding temporary Hit Points), the dead partner is resurrected. The Gemini's Resilience is increased by the amount of HP they would lose from Quantum Friction, and the critical damage it causes is tracked separately.

So, just to be sure, I can activate splinter twin at the start of every turn, do whatever, then immediately end it at the end of my turn, every turn, yes? Activating it doesn't have an activation cost, only a maintenance cost, but nothing stops you from just turning it off and on again. I presume that is intentional, I just want to be sure.

...It was intentional back in Zetaboards because I couldn't cram any more text in the text box for every edge case under the sun. However, the transfer to Proboards gave me a little more leeway in it that I can cram some more text.
This is one of my oldest homebrew so that gameplay sequence is not something I expected, especially since I always imagined that you will spend at least another turn before merging. This is an oversight IMO because there would be no reason to stay manifested.
Old one for comparison. You can still do the trick to have your partner act without consequence so I'll see how this plays out.
Change modified to be more in line with what I have in mind.

Not sure if I'm missing something, but for Notorious BIG, how much HP would the one that manifests get? Since they share an HP pool and would normally just both be at 0 which isn't helpful.

Death is caused by critical damage, not HP damage. You don't normally take critical damage until your HP is at 0.
Unless the death was caused by Quantum Friction (which is noted in the power description), the surviving half of the Gemini would be popping out at 0 HP and only whatever crit damage he took specifically. It's a bug out button more than anything.

Ohhhh thank you so much for clarifying that, I've never played before and I'm making a character for the first time. Hi there! Welcome to Dungeons the Dragoning! I do caution you on picking this exaltation for your first time playing since it's rather complex (for one thing you have to manage two characters). And yes, 0 HP isn't the end for your characters in this system. And the Promethean is extra tanky since their critical damage is split between different hit locations. If you have inquiries, feel free to ask in the relevant threads.

I've removed the Tatoo You! (sic) asset, as the asset was so bloated from trying to anticipate too many edge cases (which still wasn't enough). Here is what it looked like.
This is not the end though. Now that I don't need to keep it as an asset, I can promote it into an alternate exaltation. It'll be a while before that happens though. Unlike the Swarm, this hypothetical exaltation is about self-duplicators.
